The dims are still trotting out the same racist claims even when the (half) black guy isn't even on the ballot? Just lol at their stupidity.

The republicans were the ones who offered a diverse slate of primary candidates.

All I have to look at Europe and I'm pretty sure that's what Trump did and realize mass muslim immigration is a horrible idea if you don't know if any of them respect the American value. Another thing that people keep getting wrong, Islam is not a race. You can be any race and practice Islam. If Trump wanted to ban nazism, would you have any problem with it? Of course not becuase nazism is not a race but an idology and I wish people would see islam more like an ideology than a race. If Trump hates every non-christian why didn't he ban Hindus or Buddhists or Jews?

While Islam is not a race, a very high percentage of Muslims are Middle Eastern. Point being regardless is that those people have not done anything. You're also ignoring the millions of Muslims who do assimilate and are good people. I'm not saying don't vet them and make sure that they don't have existing ties to terrorism, but if they do not have those ties I am not in the business of banning people on the tiny chance that they won't respect American value. Trump is stereotyping Muslims when he says he doesn't want them here because they are dangerous. Furthermore, what do you think the narrative that Muslims are dangerous does to existing Muslims that are living in this country? It sure as hell doesn't make them feel comfortable, like, at all.

Are you really comparing Islam to Nazism?

In some ways yes. If you look at Islamic doctrine, both are ideologies, both preach supremacy both are tyrannical both were spread by bloodshed.

Pretty much but Christians in the year 2016 are not as big as a problem than Islamic extremism

He might. If he becomes more protectionist, and/or forces more fair trade practices then some manufacturing jobs might come back. New ones might also spring up were the economy grow faster. Some of that might happen just because various people might think it could, and hence start up companies to do it. Perception can be a powerful thing, and can indeed then become reality.

I would suggest not confusing naiveté with racism.

No.... Protectionism means that prices go up short term and you lose customers long term as why would the rest of the 7 billion people on this rock want to pay a higher price for American goods?

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy(not)! We have put up with his cocksure arrogant leftist drivel for years. It's a beautiful thing to see him in a full complete meltdown mode. Thank you Mr Trump!

Perfect image of a Trump supporter.. instead of trying to build a workable solution which will require the support or at least interest of the larger number of people that did not support Trump... they instead antagonize those. It will be a long four years.

you cant vet people you dont have data on. intelligence agencies have said this over and over. You really think European countries didnt try vetting them? thats your solution to the horrors of Muslim immigration? vet better. cmon.

We ban immigration from countries all the time for national security reasons. I see no reason why its all of sudden morally questionable to do it now. As far as banning a belief system for national security reasons, i don't think its doable but far from being immoral. Easier just to ban countries. Just to be clear, nobody takes pleasure in banning people from coming here. Lots of people are hurt by such bans. There just seems to be no other solution to the horrors going on in Europe. I have yet to hear liberals offer a reasonable one (vet better is not reasonable)

Every single Trump voter whether Republican or Democrat has hatred in their heart. Whether that's racism, sexism, xenophobia or Islamophobia.

But the attempts to deny it are cute and even...understandable from a psychologic point of view. Noone wants to admit that so many millions of their compatriots are like that..won't help them sleep at night. America proved how racist it is but tries to hide now its head in the sand.

That's the ticket. Double down on the name-calling and vitriol that just got through propelling Trump to the presidency.

What is the definition of insanity again? Doing the same thing again and again, and expecting a different result. Right?

This could be a learning time for you guys, if you are mature and open minded enough to be able to appreciate that.

    No they won't.

You can't will middle class jobs that have been automated out of existence back. Nobody is hiring a steno pool or starting a tv repair shop anymore

You can't just slap a tariff on steel and see the foundries come back, because a foundry that wants to be profitable is not going to employ any people. industrial tasks are now simply done better by machines, regardless of how low wages are.

This is true across pretty much every job. When the self driving trucks begin taking Trump voters jobs, which is already happening there is literally nothing that trade policy is going to be able to do about it, and with the planned destruction of the safety net, those people will be lost.

    LMAO what a ridiculous argument.
The blame not to those responsible by their own actions for bringing a racist to power but to those who actually call things like they are.

Here is some learning for you. You speak like a racist, act like a racist support or vote for a racist? You are a racist.
