He is waiting for a big to get injured so they give him a contract out of desperation would be my guess.

I can't see Morey doing that. Morey is all about keeping his future options flexible.

Hey, DMo. Dekker is starting off pretty damn well. Showing fearlessness and 3pt shooting with quicker release than yours.

Any contract he would get would be pro-rated 10% as of now. Sooooo. That would mean he would need a 7.7 million dollar contract now to equal a day one 7 million. After the next two games he would need a 7.9 million to equal what was on the table. Each game he wastes farting around the higher the contract will have to be to maintain the value it is now. I have no idea how many games we will have played by 11/23. But say its 13. Then its an 8.3 mil.. Math DMO.. Math.

Once Bev is back they'll be able to cut Brown...That's when Dmo will sign.

I see three things playing out right now with the Nov 23rd deadline in mind*
    1. DMo might see incentive to wait until after Nov 23rd to sign, because that guarantees Morey can't trade him this year, and guarantees he gets a partial year (at minimum) benefiting from playing in MDA's system -- which is a system for getting numbers.
    2. The above could backfire, because it's being called an "unofficial deadline" for a reason. Morey might change the offer after this deadline, for the same reason DMo likes it, because he's no longer a trade asset this year -- hence has less value to Morey. Thus, DMo could blink first for reasons of maximizing money. This "deadline" might just be a bluff, too.
    3. Now that other teams know the offer in actual 1st yr numbers, some team who wants to keep DMo might test Morey's will to match an offer sheet after the deadline passes. We legitimately might see an offer sheet finally.
    * ICYMI -- DMo can no longer be traded after Nov 23rd, due to a CBA rule. Further, right now, Sign n Trades are no longer allowed, once the season begins.

He should've signed the QO. He has no leverage over the team at this point. There are no other contract offers coming, any team that was interested in him would've done it by now. His holdout is doing nothing but costing him cold hard cash.

Damn, DMo still with us. He needs to come back fast before Harrell makes him obsolete.

Teams who want DMO don't need Stein to tell them what's the first year number...or the total number. Stein writes to inform the fans not for the other teams' GMs.

Fortunately for Dmo, the bench can't ever hold a lead for Harden since no one outside of Gordon can create their own offense. Dmo at least gives you a guy who can keep the scoreboard moving with his post play.

Anyway, thinking about our bench with a complete roster...

    Nene
    D.Mo
    Dekker
    KJ
    Gordon

That's pretty good if you ask me...lol, aside for Harden i kinda like these five more than our starting lineup...

Also, i really don't see a spot for Brewer here...not that this isn't obvious at this point, but still...

I would be surprised seeing DMo playing much 4 in MDA's system as it would be Nene and Harrell who probably lose the most minutes.

Dmo will not be able to take anyone's minutes on this team. If he comes back, which I doubt, he will be a cheerleader on the bench.
