Why is this dude not getting more minutes ? He had a few good games in a row and now his pt has slipped . There are plenty to be had , there are situations he can take minutes from Brewer and from Ennis . Harden and Ariza are going to play 40+ tonight . Having an extra few minutes of rest is crucial .

I rest my case . Harden was gassed the last 3 minutes . Don't accept in victory what you would not tolerate in defeat . The fact we won doesn't excuse over-using James

D'Antoni told him he needs to get braids, no afros.

and bruhhhh. Corey Sewer 2-0 in the lineup. We can't ruin this great trend.......

Agree. KJ needs minutes but I think Dekker is going to keep pushing over his minutes. Brewer has to be traded for KJ to really see any significant time.

Have Gordon play point with the 2nd unit with KJ replacing Ennis. Ennis doesn't do anything on the floor. Doesn't run the team and is below average on defense.

I've been very impressed with what D'Antoni has implemented offensively, and believe it or not, even defensively, however...his rotations/minutes have been head-scratching at times. Maybe it's just early and he's seeing what works, but playing Corey Brewer is pretty much unfathomable at this point.

Brewer should just not play . KJ can play all his minutes and all of Ennis ' . There is no reason he can't play 15-20 a game and contribute to giving harden an extra few minutes of rest .

Also Brewer gets to play with harden . KJ has to play with Ennis .. How do you think that's going to make him look ? Dekker had great first half minutes WITH HARDEN . When he had to play with Ennis he looked bad . Players have to try to do more than they can to make up for Ennis' inability .

We have to find a way to get James down to 36 with a normal rotation or the only way he's gonna have any rest is if we are blowing a team out or they are blowing us out .

Yeah James was on his knees already in the middle of the third quarter, pretty exausted in the end two, that's probably why he missed two fts...not sure why they didn't take him out a bit early in the third...

Not sure why KJ didn't play btw...i think they're just starting Brewer in the hope that he can play a couple of decent games to boost his value, not sure this is going to happen though :D

Absolutely at a loss as to why KJ only played 5 minutes. Hell, even in the 5 minutes he played, he made a great defensive play and a great pass.

I believe Bzdelik is doing most of the implementing defensively lol

KJ brings so much to the table, but I think he is losing his confidence by playing good, but then MDA plays and starts Brewer over him. Now he looks a little tenative when on the court. I will blame MDA if KJ doesn't snap back. He should be getting all of Brewers minutes, not just some of them.

Based on my eyes he deserves minutes over Brewer, but Mike D loves vets. I actually see KJ hitting the occasional 3 pointer keeping defenses honest...

Maybe Brewer is blackmailing D'Antoni with pictures of D'Antoni playing "pattycake" with Les...?

    Roger Rabbit: "Pattycake?.....PATTYCAKE?!?!"

I would like to agree about the showcasing Brewer idea, but I also agree that, if true, it has had the opposite effect.

KJ Really came on when he got to play with Harden. I know it's a dead horse or close to it but if Brewer can start next to Harden...if a defensive minded perimeter player like Beverley starts with Harden, KJ damn sure can start with Harden. Possibly some behind the scenes issues, injury status or attitude problems. Who knows at this point?

Because we need to showcase Brewer for a trade. KJ is obviously way better at absolutely everything basketball related.

All the stars in the universe have aligned to give Brewer the opportunity to play better. Is it really ever going to happen?

I maintain that he reads this board and thus his confidence is annihilated. I really believe that. I think it's playing with his head, and when he's starting it's not giving him confidence because now he believes he's being put in the shop window to be traded.

KJ is better, Morey/MDA/Bzdelik know it. We should waive Brewer when Bev is back. Vasquez is a guy who can be a part of this bench for years.

If Morey is able to trade Brew without giving up more than a 2nd, it would be a miracle. Lakers couldn't get rid of Nick Young and a 2nd rounder in exchange for nothing and he makes less than Brewer.
