I said seems to be that way, as in maybe it is maybe it isn't.

Honestly just telling you, some people feel threatened by Trump winning. Threatened for their life and their rights. So when you say to them "Suck it up." it's like a hard smack in the face. It's the exact opposite of what those on the right should be saying.

Mike Pence is a openly against LGBT rights, so when you tell people to just suck it up, get over it...it won't go so well. Obama had 8 years in office, I never told people that complained about him to just suck it up. I hear a lot from the right today though that people on the left should just shut up and be quiet. Just accept it and bend over.

And once again, that was stated directly at Sam.

Yeah and reading the post he made it was clear he had the same feelings that we were handing over the country to someone racist and dangerous to our country. Your response was still the same.

Obama didn't just tell Trump to stop whining?

I don't know what Obama has to do with me. Also yes during the campaign he did, during the campaign many republicans told Trump the same thing.

We're past that now. We are dealing with the results. You seem to be all about unity but unity isn't telling the other side to stop whining, be quiet, and roll over.

That much needed stop whining message needs to come from the wise people within your party. Your party put up a shitty candidate and they got so emotionally invested in that shitty candidate that they wound up actually crying when she lost. There's no way either candidate was a sure thing. All those Sanders supporters should be livid at the DNC for disadvantaging Bernie the way they did. Let them cry over what their party became in this election, those tears will be shed for a more useful purpose to help fix what they think is wrong. Get the Democratic Party in order first.

I honestly don't know what you want.

You want people to just shut up and not say anything bad about Trump I guess. Conservatives spent 8 years whining about Obama but liberals, shut up. Roll over. Take it.

There is no unity, winner take all, we pretty much just have to suck it up. This is what this country have come down to.

Well your message was the same, he said he feared for his kids future and your response was to suck it up.

Like I said... get your own house in order. There's a reason you lost to that candidate. The other thing is they bit hard in to political spin. Step back and see what Trump actually announces what he is going to do. They are riled up over worst case spin that politicians use to get elected.

Say what they want, just quit blocking roadways and get behind a message instead of walking around without one.

Did you miss the other threads here discussing the DNC? People are going to protest, it's time to accept that. Your trying to police thoughts now.

No, but maybe you are. You posted in a public thread and are not annoyed that I replied to your post. Maybe you should have sent Sam a private message if you meant for only him to read it.

So you want to police my actions. Nice. You really are something else.

BTW, not annoyed at you responding. Amused that you think this about you.

Difference is I never told you to not post what you posted by telling you to stop whining. I thought you were for unity and I was telling you how your response to Sam smacks in the face of unity.

I honestly think you are a decent person and that was my response. I never insulted you, called you dense, or whatever though.

Well thank you for that compliment. I'm trying to tell you that I'm addressing Sam and Sam alone. He's a big boy and brought this on himself. If it were almost anyone else that told me that, I would have been much much more empathetic in my response. I apologize for calling you dense. No excuse for saying that to you.

And for you, I'm hoping that Trump will work to compromise and do what's best for our nation.

    This.

Though, I think the corrupt DNC deserves an extraordinarily large share of the "blame" for liberals. Frankly, money wins elections. There will always be sheeple who vote based only on name recognition and party affiliation. DNC knew that, and they made sure Hillary got the nod. Had they stepped out of the way, it might've been Bernie, who is distinctly not a "complete embarrassment," even if you disagree with every one of his policy positions.

Totally unrelated, but I just noticed your avatar. You win the BBS. That is all. :D

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. I disliked Obama greatly, and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I didn't kick and scream and cry and protest like a damn child. I gave him a shot, and when he did things I did not like, I let my representatives know about it... you know, like and adult.

Here's where I play Hillary supporter's Trump card... has he ever been found guilty of being corrupt? Nope - so he must not be corrupt. I mean Hillary isn't, right?

I agree with you on this, and think that even if the next four years of Trump are terrible - at least it is a sign to the DC elite that the American people don't give a damn how long they've been in the game.

I'd put money on the fact that most people protesting, didn't even vote. See Colin Kaepernick's ignorant ass for details.

I agree with most of this except the last paragraph, as Trump made a gamble to awake those white voters that sat out in 2008 and 2012.

I think the bigger problem is assuming Hispanics (or insert group here) all want the same thing as there are quite a few socially conservative Hispanics.

Democrats got arrogant and assumed there would be no way someone of profound ignorance and dishonesty would get elected.
