Why am I being disrespectful? If I called him " Degenerate ", " Low Life", " Liar"....etc, then I'm being disrespectful. His name happened to be Barry, don't believe me go look it up for yourself. I failed to see your logic.

Well he's done stuff out of office that affect people. The message from the rallies are again "Don't mess with us." and some are saying that it's simply a you don't have the mandate, you don't have the popular vote so you don't have the will of the people. It's like a warning protest because of the things he's promised to do it's pretty understandable why some people would be angry enough to protest him I think.

Protesting the president-elect is A-OK to me. Not everyone has to like him as a person or politician.

I don't think protesting the man is protesting democracy itself. In fact, I know it's not. Because not everyone has to like every result that comes about through this country's democratic process.

You lay out a pretty broad spectrum there.

If you want proof of mass twitter attacks on Obama, sure, I have no problem finding that for you.

You are batcrazy if you don't believe that there was IMMENSE hate on the internet for Obama though. Twitter and Facebook were full of rage posts and racist rants.

You failed to differentiate between hatred and threat.

Sure... its the same disrespect when republicans emphasized his middle name Barack HUSSEIN Obama, calling him Barry is also an effort to be disrespectful. Its disappointing that you can't even be honest about this on a political debate discussion board when called out on it, but not surprising.

Meh. By all means have them exercise their constitutional rights. Most of us will critique the value of what's being said. And if they break the law they'll enjoy the consequences of their actions.

Speaking of constitutional rights, it could be argued that Trump does have the will of the people to a very large degree being that the will was legitimately expressed through our electorial system. To the victor go the spoils.

what difference does that make??? all threats lead from hatred. it's not like tea partiers weren't walking around the
    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/...a-Is-the-Most-Threatened-President-In-History

at what point do you take a step back and realize that regardless of who you're railing against, those of your ilk have done and said the exact same things and that it simply isn't ok? is there ever a point where you stop defending the indefensible? or does your hatred of those on the left outweigh common decency? progress will never be made when you view the world in absolutes R = good and D = evil

I have no problem if you guys hate Trump and call him all kinds of names, I welcome free speech because that what America is all about. We have been living under a totalitarian regime for the past 8 years, any time someone utters a negative word towards King Barry, that person is immediately got scolded and taken to the woodshed. We have presidents we do not have kings, we have a right to curse out our president without any backlash. However, I have a serious problem when someone is threatened Mr Trump or King Barry!

I find it ironic that my FB friends who supported trump are now expressing interest in tolerance, kindness and respect.

I wonder if the temper tantrum will continue tonight or if those on the left suck it up and act like adults after only one night of childishness.

Hey there, you forgot that Trump's standard is "accept the results if you win." I mean, the president-elect suggested this new 21st century response, and the people seem to have been influenced by it.

You do realize that those on the left throwing a childish temper tantrum due to not getting their way is only going to make Donald Trump a sympathetic character.....i mean you know that right?

I was against Trump from the start, but it's over now. Deal with it like an adult. There are millions of people unhappy about EVERY election, there's no excuse for this BS.

First of all, I am not out in the street or whatever tantrum you are referring to.
Second of all, I do not care if people sympathize more with Trump after he has already won the election. You can be his gf for all I care.
Third, for people looking at being deported, you're high on opioids if you think they're going to go quietly.
