Trump Won Because Leftist Political Correctness Inspired a Terrifying Backlash

So basically, you are acknowledging that sexual harassment is clearly wrong, and neither Bill Clinton nor Donald Trump should be President?

2012: 72% of electorate, Romney 59, Obama 39
2016: 69% of electorate, Trump 58, Obama 37

This is the first time white voter percentage have dropped under 70% in a presidential election. We will see what this number is next time at this rate in about 20 years the percentage of white voter will be about 50%.

Trump won because with the advent of modern social media and alternative news sites, we have these 'alternative reality' bubbles where large swaths of the population have a entirely different understanding of reality of what is happening around the world. People stick to sources they perceive to be trustworthy. This is evident with the fact that a majority of Trump supporters believe that Trump is a Kenyan secret Muslim Manchurian candidate.

 

If Trump sexually harrasses women in the Oval Office and it can be proven to have occured, he should be impeached like Bill was.

 

Republicans are going to have to work their asses off to not get slaughtered in 2020.

That is not sour grapes either. Every single indicator we have shows 2020 being a real moment of reckoning for Republicans.

There will be over twice as many seats up for Rs as Ds and Trump is heading into office with the lowest favorability rating in the history of the Presidency.

They control every single branch of government and will likely do so (barely) after 2018.

Republicans have 4 years to work a few miracles and unite their party or s*** is going to hit the fan in a big way.

Presidents that won the office but not the popular vote are one term presidents, the only one that wasn't was Bush and we know what happened with that.

Depends on what you consider credible. I guess if you consider anyone who makes a claim credible (which appears to be the standard when accusing Bill Clinton) then lots of women.

His wife accused him of raping her.
Teenage girls accused him of repeatedly walking in on them naked because he owned the pageant (he denies this but has actually bragged on tape about doing it)
Miss Utah claimed he kissed her against her will
He and his companies have been sued multiple times over the years for various claims of harassment and discrimination against women
On the Apprentice, female contestants have said that Trump would repeatedly discuss having sex with them and grading them on a "would he/wouldn't he" scale and would ask the male contestants similar things, all in front of the women.

I'm puzzled that anyone who finds Clinton's sexual issues to be bothersome could possibly vote for Trump. Married multiple times and cheated on all of them. Had his girlfriend/soon to be wife posed semi nude in the run up to his first potential presidential campaign in 2000 as a way to show off his opulent life style. Jokes pretty vulgarly about forcing himself on women, even if you believe he didn't actually do it.

 

So I see. Trump sexually harassing women before he got in the White House was OK. Just curious whether your concern about sexual harassment was only politically driven or not. Thanks for answering that question.

 

If Democrats can find somebody halfway likable that doesn't have an assload of dirty laundry, Trump is probably toast.

He may pull off a few populist miracles, but I doubt it.

 

Well, given the fact that Trump never admits to or apologizes for anything, that bodes will for an impeachment opportunity.

 

I keep reading these explanations of the oppression of political correctness and I'm still not getting it. You still sound like a delicate snowflake. That the delicate snowflakes delivered the presidency to Trump in a convulsion of mass hysteria doesn't legitimize the complaint. But whatever. In any case, I'm pretty sure it was not the oppression of political correctness that drove the election anyway. The rationale keeps talking about thought control on college campuses when Trump won on the strength of voters who haven't been on a college campus in decades if ever at all. Saying the problem is political correctness looks to me to itself be a politically correct way of saying what the real problem is.

Thank you for that info. I was asking sincerely. Since we are comparing Bill's actions/punishments to Trumps actions/punishments, they should match up. However, the impeachment was not for Bill's sexual actions IIRC.

Still. Trump needs to clean up his act.

I've been saying the same thing. It's basically "Well you called some people racist so they had to vote for the racist." all they've done is prove the so called SJWs and PC Warriors right.
