    Harden isn't checking Kawhi either.

Great win. James is an offensive god.

Our biggest problem interior (although Clint is doing pretty good) is turnovers. Our fast pace will increase our total, but some are just lackadaisical and it's not just Harden.

Crazy good, this James Harden. That 2nd to last charge was not one, Manu came in at the last second and was moving forward, but that last one was a bit too obvious. We got a little lucky, but I'll take it!! Brewer continues to be horrible though, give Dekker starting position or KJ.

Great call by Dantoni to put Harden back early in the fourth. Pretty much saved the game and stopped the bleeding.
Overall Spurs plan worked well, trapped Harden luring him to come inside and denying the lobs.
If Ariza and Brewer were making the corner 3's this game was much easier.
Good defense, nice to see guards box out the rebound, haven't seen this in a while.
Need to fix 4rth quarter hero ball but that's not news.

Harden is like Michael Jordan, he'll never guard the best player. MJ's defense was overrated and Scottie's was clearly underappreciated.

Very important win for the Rockets. The Spurs will never be a bad team in the league and they could easily 2-0, 3-0 or 4-0 anyone in the regular season series. Winning that road game against the Spurs will relieve a lot of pressure going back home.

    Great effort!

I've been super tough on Harden for slowness and appearing out of shape; however, he matched the Spurs intensity last night. The advanced stats bear that out.

Good leadership by Harden in finding a way to win, even when he was tired at the end . . . The Spurs defense certainly picked up on him in the 4th quarter, but he made the plays.

It's fabulous to actually see a true Rockets defensive game plan being implemented and the degree of help that this group offers each other. I actually think it surprised Popovich and the Spurs.

Wanted: A two-way athlete who can space the floor with a corner jump shot. Corey Brewer gives great effort, but I'm not sure that shot can be fixed. If anyone can do it, I'd trust D'Antoni, though. McDaniels is too good on those cuts to the basket to stand in the corner and hope to make shots. If we can add this player (a true 3 to spell Ariza), we really would have some pop on offense.

I'm guessing Morey is going to watch the Vipers roster closely as it is loaded with players who fit that profile.

    Great game.

Got lucky the refs let 'em play on that final Spurs possession. Could have been a foul on Nene for jumping into Kawhi, and on Gordon for pushing LMA on his tip in attempt.

Wow, what a game!!!!! That was an awesome win and had me on the edge of my chair. As much as Harden carries this team he drove me just as crazy when he got too selfish in the last 3 minutes. We played so well moving the ball around fast, and Anderson and Gordon are clutch for the 3's. But....in those last minutes Harden started going back to his old ways, slowing the whole game down and standing there dribbling, and trying to do it all himself and not passing to wide open Anderson or Gordon.

Last 3 minutes: Harden missed a 3, turned the ball over, missed a jumper, missed 2 free throws, missed another 3 pointer, got called for a charge, had another turnover, and almost lost the game for us. I give him credit to contributing on getting a couple rebounds, but only one other person took a shot. That was Anderson, and yes, he made his 3 pointer. Thank you Ariza for that last rebound and saving the game.

Harden is great, he carries this team........but, the coach needs to reign him in when he starts playing differently in those clutch moments. It's a TEAM!!!

Argue that, and well, you and I just see it differently. I won't even argue your point.

End of games naturally slow down and become ISO oriented.

Still getting the offense working right.

The Rockets were up for most of the game until the 4th and I was worried they might steal it. Went from we got this for three Q's to don't f this up. Gotta figure out this persistent 4th q scoring drought.

Will Tony Parker return next game?

To quote Mchale, the ball got sticky in the 4rth that's why the lead evaporated. I think the problem is always at end of games Harden loses gas/focus and reverts to isoball mentality. Hopefully this tendency goes away as players start building trust on the new system.

Great win. Really impressed at our defense! That effort in the 4th quarter was the best all season. If we keep that up more regularly, this team really could win around 50 games.

Our inability to score in the 4th quarter is worrisome, before the season started I expressed concern that Harden being the point and literally handling the ball 100% of the time all the time would wear him out, and it looks like that is the case so far. Hopefully he can adjust and still be sharp at the end of games.
