good move...nick young is wildly inefficient and gordon provides sufficient scoring off the bench...

    oh, and plays no defense...

Maury would have accepted if it came with Iggy Azelea.

He denied since Young don't come with her anymore

I agree. He's a head case and not with the hit to chemistry.

So, the Lakers asked their **** where he wanted to be dumped?

LA's sh1ts are pretty fancy, to first be asked a dumping preference.

I don't understand why so many say we shouldn't have done it. We need second unit TALENT on this team in a bad way. Nick Young only has two years left on his deal at 5.4 mil a year. He is averaging in 27mpg, 45%fg, 35.3% 3pt, 100% ft, 14.5pts, and 2.9rbs this year. He is a career 36.9 3pt shooter over 9 seasons I believe. He can also handle that ball without you cringing every time like we do with Ariza and Brewer. What second rounder can produce like that for us?

I don't know why Morey wouldn't do this deal. Sure, it would make more since if they would have accepted Brewer in return, don't know that they didn't or if it was even offered or not. But even if they wouldn't, I would take Nick for a 2nd rounder, and then definitely get rid of Brewer and his salary some kind of way.

This just lends more credibility to the fact that either a) Brewer has naked pictures or something negative on Morey, hence all Coaches are forced to play him by Morey, or b) Morey doesn't want to admit that it was a mistake to sign Brewer again and therefore wants to keep him on the team and wait for him to turn his play around. This would be the same thinking that Morey has displayed with Ennis. Bad decision making for the wrong reasons.

People once looked at JR Smith the way that they currently look at Nick Young.

We can certainly use him. I guess Morey was thinking he's kinda a duplicate to Gordon. Imagine Bev is starting and Gordon off the bench. There probably wouldn't be enough minutes for Nick Young.

Yeah that's strange. Because I find it hard to believe that there were teams competing to have Young dumped on them.
Teams can ask for players usually FA to be in a season, where they want to get traded but usually they are at least a bit useful. Or more useful than Young last season.

But with the way he plays he will be able to be dumped in the trade deadline.

It took LBJ to rein in Junior, the guy for whom 'if the shirt fits, wear it'. JRSmith traded and does he revert?

Young is a good player - - occasionally. The rest of the time Yinka Dare is a better passer and rotational player.
