To you he is, but to the left he isn't... and even to many moderates he isn't. HRC lost this election because people feared her, and I think many more people on the left would have feared Trump over Sanders, and stuck with their vote for the left rather than a third party.
DNC? Democratic turnout was down 6 million votes. Hillary was a respectable option. The voters that stayed home or strayed are to be "thanked" for their contribution this election.
I encourage you to look at the voting results in all of the swing states, and compare them with the number of third party votes in those states. Every single one of them could have swung the other way with fewer than half of the third party votes cast. A majority of third party voters, were liberal. A huge chunk of Gary Johnson's votes were Bernie supporters, and nearly every Jill Stein vote was. 6% of 30-40 year olds voted third party (including me), and 8-9% of 18-30 voted third party.
I would bet that Bernie would got the 18-42 Dem voters out to the polls and had trouble getting of the older or black or Latino voters out. This really is a tired, false narrative. The DNC did not block Bernie. Hillary got more primary votes than Bernie. The super delegate voters did not come into play.
Lol, first of all I am not a Trump supporter. I did vote against Hillary. Second, it is funny when the democrat sheep call conservatives simple minded. Do you really think a majority of Americans does not know how bad socialism is? Warped socialist minds like you and a few others around here are clueless.
Not true, if Hillary was not so flawed, the democrat turn out would have been higher in swing states, Florida and several other states could have easily flipped.
Read the Podesta Emails, the entire DNC machine worked against Bernie from the get go - and he was as popular as he was, IN SPITE of the DNC and HRC working behind the scenes to squash him together. It is exactly the same thing that happened to Ron Paul and the GOP in 2008.
if given the choice btwn the two...Bernie was trust worthy... I dont think our nation wouldve survived under a Sanders presidency...he is way too far left in his policies. But the guy is genuine.. Trump...is brash. The guy that will tell you to your face that you look like ish...but deep down you know it was true...just wished it wasnt so harsh... That was and is Trump...When people undressed his blunt delivery...they found that his substance resonated with many folks...especially in the midwest and the great Lakes region. The truth is the right and left underestimated Trump as a candidate from the start. It was a joke...but they all failed to see momentum until it was TOO late. Forget about what could have been...Trump rolled through the establishment(17 Republican candidates, and 1 Democratic Nominee)...time that folks took notice of the obvious. The guy said he would win...and did...bigly!
Like I said, emotion over policy. Trump is more flawed than Clinton in my opinion, but that didn't matter. Mostly, I don't think Bernie was a popular as people think as Clinton was the best shot.
He was underestimated, but there was no substance beneath his brashness just the usual fear mongering that targets nationalism and xenophobia.
Does it matter how they got there? They are signed and confirmed by unique encryption signatures. How they were delivered doesn't cover up the corruption contained within. Either way, WikiLeaks says that the Russians didn't give them to them. The guy's GMAIL was hacked, and he didn't have two-factor authentication enabled and a single phishing email exposed him. It doesn't exactly take a clandestine organization to spoof an email address.
Wrong, by definition as a non-profit political party registered with the FEC, it is a public institution with extremely strict oversight.
Bernie would've done a better job getting out the millennial vote...but I think he would have fared even worse than Hillary with turnout among Blacks, Latinos and Asians. He does not seem to relate well to those groups. So I think Bernie would have lost against Trump if he were the nominee. And yes, the corrupt DNC conspired against Bernie. However, even if they were fair to him, I don't think it would've mattered as far as the outcome of the Dem nomination process is concerned. Like others said, he lost fair and square.
Sorry but if you think Bernie was gonna a upend white identity politics - aka racism - that's just wrong.
