Huge Chappelle fan . SNL has been great this year . Still , as much as I have hope , I think it will be hard fornthis episode to live up to he hype .

Part of what made the Tom hanks skits so great was the unpredictable lift of the characters. I don't know if with current expectations , they can keep doing that .

He's back! Rumor is he's having a special releasing around Thanksgiving or Christmas. I'm giddy.

Tom Hanks was great. Not much hope for Cumberbatch. Hopefully Chappelle will be great.

Does Chappelle bring back Black Bush for SNL?

Why not? Cumberbatch is great at just about everything he does.

This has potential to be an epic episode. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

I guess I just don't know much about him, especially as a comedian.

They are dropping an album with Phife's final recordings , but how are they going to navigate this live Tribe performance without their recently deceased founding member?

I just got a great freakin' idea. Now that Trump is upon us, SNL should cold open with Dave (as Trump) doing a parody of the "Pure Imagination" scene from the OG Willie Wonka. This writes itself really.

Instead of stopping the kids from going down the steps at first he waves that pointed finger, when the "kids" do get released they go beat up on people and throw immigrants over the Wall, etc., Trump eats a taco bowl at the end of the song instead of that candy cup, Chris Christie falls into the Orange river, and finally the black Donald freaks out everyone as he takes America down a hallucinogenic nightmare...

Do it Lorne, you punk. In lesser hands, I would imagine SNL would bungle this and get mixed results but this is Dave freakin' Chappelle we're talking about. That's a charismatic mofo right there.

I mean Dave would've tried something comparable on his show, right? I miss that show...

I like Cumberbatch, but he was terrible on SNL. I blame the writing. Seemed like a disconnect there. Dana Carvey didn't seem to fit in either, that's when you know **** must be bad.

He's not a very good actor. Dave on the other hand is about to tear this **** up + the ****ing Tribe is gonna be in the house. I'm excited about this. They haven't had a good snl since Louis C.K hosted with Sam Smith performing .

I hope they let him and Neal Brennan write everything and the normal SNL writers just take a week off.

This is a tremendous exchange. Not sure if @Patman87 is serious, but the miscommunication is damn hilarious.
