okay then. I'm the only one who has this opinion because I hate them. Hey everyone else reading this thread who is not full of hate like me! Erdogan is a great democratic leader!!
Warren is tainted too. Her controversies paint her as self-serving and too highly ambitious. The world would know her only as Pocahontas after Trump was done with her.
I said I would rather have Edrogan than Trump because he cares about all of his people and not just tax breaks for the rich. I have videos of millions of Turks celebrating and dancing in the streets after they protected Erdogan up until the point when I left. Why would I not believe that and believe someone who was ruled by Turks for over 400 years? Of course you will say their leader sucks, there is bad blood.
Any opinion Americans may have about Mexico and the Uk is immediately discredited. You were ruled by them a few centuries ago so why wouldn't you maliciously lie? Btw if I wanted what was the worst for the turkish people I would support Erdogan. Not the other way around.
One thing that will not be lost on me is how he handles it when things don't go his way? Sure, he just tweets about it during the election campaigning and blames others. But, he is now going to be in the position where the buck stops with him. He's not going to be able to blame others as he has successfully done so far. When the sh_t hits the fan, it's going to hit him as well and he is going to have to be accountable for it!
Well, the Turks love him and everyone is taken care of by him in that country. Also, I was not ruled by Mexico as my family only dates back to 1988 in America. I guess I can have an opinion on those things since I wasn't ruled by anyone for almost half a millennia.
I think this post, especially the first part, is spot on. I truly don't believe that most of the Trump supporters are misogynistic, racist nutjobs (though of course there are some...this is America after all). I think most, especially in the rust belt swing states, are just sick and tired of the establishment, sick and tired of the so called economic recovery which has only benefited the upper class, sick and tired of empty promises and more of the same advancement of corporate interests above and beyond the common people. And the DNC royally screwed up in pushing the candidate who completely embodies all of this, at least in the eyes of many Americans and certainly the ones who are fed up with the system. Most Trump supporters I know (I loathe both candidates) don't even like him very much but truly hate Hillary and feel she is totally corrupted and bound to special interests. If the DNC had anyone else running, I think Trump loses by a landslide. He just happens to be the only "anti-establishment" candidate vs the "total establishment" candidate and therefore, despite saying and supporting some pretty horrendous things, Americans came out and said, "Despite Trump being Trump, we are sick and tired of where we are heading and we want change and someone who isn't knee-deep in the lobbyist muck." And so now we have a president-elect who could easily trigger WW3 if he gets angry enough, who is completely unqualified to head up this country, who is a total wildcard...and it could have been avoided had the DNC not rammed HRC down America's throats and chosen a less stereotypical and polarizing candidate
She dropped the lawsuit because it doesn't stand up to scrutiny. I personally found quite fascinating that the woman in question didn't know the identity of her attacker until years when later after watching an episode of "The Apprentice". Then she justt came to believe that it was Trump. But whatever. You were fine I presume when Bill was occupying the White House with multiple rape allegations against for years?
Ok and my great great grandfather was from Russia. So I can have an opinion as well. I think you need to fix your post. The Turks who are not yet in jail for opposing him or writing anything critical about him, love him. And the North Koreans who are not in concetration camps or already dead from famine love Kim Jing sun. How does it negate from taking away human rights and freedoms? Also if you actually knew a lot about Turkey you would know that the western coast is a whole different situation than the eastern parts.
Democracy isn't only a priviledge but also a responsiblity. If you vote for a deranged individual when you already know of his beliefs YOU are responsible for his further actions since you are the ones who empowered him.
In 20 years this election will make an amazing read. How news networks seeking ratings, the rise of fake conservative websites, and baby boomers not being able to tell fact from fiction all led to the nomination of a reality tv star.
I think so, too... I just can't square how they could possibly think Trump can/will remedy any of this. But such was their blinding hatred for all thing establishment; they're willing to turn it over to a total sociopath. I truly don't know how Bernie Sanders would've done - especially looking at the wide, comprehensive swath of red across the Midwest - I mean, I'm not sure a northeastern socialist Jew would've resonated with those people. BUT... given the obvious animus toward any pretense of establishment, he might've been more viable than I ever thought. I also wonder if he would have made a difference as VP. I think she ultimately, and fatally, bled Democrats angry over the primary. The Kaine pick solidified her position, I fear. The Democrats used to be more of a one-and-done party... anyone heard from Dukakis lately? And with a tremendous amount of hindsight, they maybe should have seen her loss in '08 as the end of the line for Hillary. But it felt like... I don't know: they owed her (when, really, her Secretary of State appointment was enough of a consolation prize). And while I think, stripped of all the bullshit, she was a remarkably competent, qualified candidate -- they failed to see that Obama and his ilk had taken over and killed the 90s Reblicrat part of the party that Clinton ushered in and didn't groom a candidate who could truly, seamlessly build on what Obama had started.
This was her biggest gaffe, this right here. Her disdain for the progressive part in her party was felt and the email scandal just solidified that.
