Just wait till gay marriage gets overturned in the Supreme court.

It won't be "overturned." The responsibility for defining the limits of marriage will be returned to the states, as prescribed in the US Constitution. Each state will have its own law, as the people of that state decide.

I'm still hoping no. In the light of day I still feel sick to my stomach but I still believe in democracy. Many of us are upset but lets comeback and resolve our differences with the ballot box instead of violence.

I dont expect gay marriage to be overturned. Its one of those things that really are not that important in the grand scheme of things.

If it gets overturned, it will be based on the principle of states rights.

No, they won't. They can march and lobby their state legislatures though. Some states will probably allow it.

Not probably, definitely. What will happen if more things are pushed back out to the states (which I believe is the right thing to do) is that the states will become more 'polarized', with liberal states becoming more liberal, and conservative states becoming more conservative. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing...but it will be a thing that will happen.

I do hope that we don't go through years and years of what happened after Bush won...which was essentially denial that he won. We have a process, the process produced a winner. Trump said he wants to be the President of everyone. let's give him a chance to actually do that. If he fails, then plenty of time to castigate him for it.

Ok ,well the protests have started. I don't like Trump, but whatever. Everyone had their chance to vote. We will have another chance to vote in another four years. Until then, he's the President, like it or not.

Why does the violent left always seem to get a pass? Can you imagine if these were Trump supporters rioting? They would be crucified by the media.

Because the Left self justifies intolerance of opinion.

I'm legit scared because I'm worried about a terrorist attack, not rioting.

That and when I rent out my apartment that weekend on Airbnb I'm worried that Cletus will use it to make meth.

Will it be any different in regards to a terror attack when Obama was inaugurated? I'm more afraid of liberals to be honest.

I was worried about Obama getting capped by a crazed Klansman redneck from Texas or Alabama.

I'm worried that some ISIS operative will attack Trump to start their holy war (they are pretty excited he got elected, in case you haven't heard).

If Hillary won I was going to be pretty nervous that some yokel from Indiana or Oklahoma who is convinced the election was rigged would drive his F150 full of fertilizer and lit fuses into the national mall.

Protests like that (black lives matter, etc) are part of what brought voters to the polls to vote for Trump.
