You're gonna see state legislation banning abortions or shutting down clinics outright, and forcing test cases. The trend of broadening social including and progress that started with Griswold v. Connecticut, Sweatt v. Painter, Brown, Miranda, it's all over.

this is where the disconnect is .... Insurance historically has been a gamble .

Emergency rooms are compensated by the FEDS when they treat those without insurance and in dire need of care which comes out of what we already pay in taxes.

With ACA .... we all get to contribute to the profits of the insurance industry .... Remember , my wife is an insurance agent. ACA was straight up theft , especially from those young and healthy individuals who have no need for anything other than "catastrophic care."

Insurance puts steaks on my table ..... think about that for a minute.

I'm a hardline fiscal conservative .... Now read the next sentence.

I'd much prefer a single payer system .... assuming they didn't make a mess of it..

I think things will get worse in the intercity.

You're going to see education dollars flow out, infrastructure dollars flow out of cities, big cuts in housing programs, student loans, food stamps, welfare. That loss in consumer spending will also likely drag on the economy. Deregulation will happen - so a lot of price increases on drugs. EPA will be hand checked - clean air act is gone so urban dwellers (dems) will get to breath industrial air again. A lot of consumer protections will be gone.

Also you will see a cut in taxes and increase in military spending. So a lot of deficit spending will occur. 30 Trillion is probably going to happen in Trumps first term.

Ironically, the people who will feel the pinch are the folks who feel their lives are not heading in the right direction as the truth is that Trump isn't going to stop globalization. Just the opposite in fact.

Truth is the people that wanted to blame brown people and others for their problems will still have their problems, probably moreso. Not sure who they will blame after that, hopefully the GOP that the put in power.

Republicans have a blank check to do what ever they want now. Trump has no idea what he's doing; he's going to sign anything they put in front of him...

State legislation, yeah definitely. You're probably right in the end with that one.

Unfortunately, but a man can hope that one day humanity as a whole would learn.

You don't think for a minute that the problems are greedy DC politicians ...

Hillary violates a congressional subpoena and walks .... a black or Hispanic spits on the sidewalk and does a decade go figure.

    Maybe Trump is the answer.

After hearing Trump's rhetoric for the past years I don't think he's going to stand up for that black or hispanic. I'm sorry man I don't. Maybe all this time he was just playing the game and knew that dog whistle would get him votes but you can't blame me for hearing what he said and judging him by what he said.

Trump's friends are the super rich that sent their products to be manufactured overseas via cheap labor to make a bigger profit. He is a part of the problem. How could they not figure this out. Hides tax releases. Scammed people via Trump University. Multiple Casinos closed and employees hung out to dry. Idiots... Trump is laughing from a power trip that he just obtained.

I honestly don't think so. To many actual bigots and racists out there(I don't think you deny they exist), the results of this election make them perceive that their sentiments they have about Muslims, Blacks, Latinos etc is the popular opinion in the US thus they feel more emboldened to be more open about it.

That's my biggest fear of a Trump presidency. I don't think that is an overreaction. I think we will see this happen. He;;, it arguably has already happened before election night with Trump just being a major party candidate.

The biggest fear is the mystery clouding his presidency. Nobody really knows what he's goin to do. You can never really get a grip on his position and rhetoric (I am not even really sure if he is an actual Republican). It can easily change as he pleases. Americans are pretty much in his mercy

Trump will be the first president that will think the White House is completely inadequate and in need of a structural modification. He will make it the size of Chinese Airport with a huge roof top landing strip for all his aircraft. DC better get ready to shut down a few streets for this construction period.

During the primary , Trump was the media daring .... During the general , Trump was public enemy #1.

I really don't believe that Trumps message was inflammatory or that it changed all alone.

Go back and listen to what was said and done. Put America and AMERICANS First.

Kicking out illegal aliens isn't racist - They are illegal ..... they have no right to be here. They should go thu the process like their legal counterparts.

NAFTA has cost us hundreds of billions .... think its time for a fix ?

ACA .... Healthcare costs me more than a freaking mortgage , damn near double for me my wife and 3 kids.

Yeah , he said some dumb **** about women .... in a candid moment 2 decades ago. Hillary defied a congressional subpoena , destroyed evidence , incident riots at Trump rally's and put state secrets at very high risk - supposedly hacked by at least 5 hostile organizations.

First Lady - Melania Trump or .... Bill Clinton. (anyone else find it comical Trump won Arkansas .... LOL) Melania hands down .... No freaking contest..

I liked the one where he called Republican voters dumb and if he were to run he'd use that party to win, I think that was in 98. No, I don't think that Republican voters are dumb, I just think it's going to be entertaining watching our American media cry about the polls when they ****ed the DNC, and paved the way for Johnson to get some of Clinton's votes.

My guess is that his persona during his campaigns is a sham and he delegates a lot of his work and takes a more sensible position in office.

And if he fools conservatives into supporting universal healthcare, that's a plus for me!

Also the 1998 Donald Trump quote going on is a hoax.

You know could be we have little to fear after all...something that a lot of people have forgotten about is Trump University, isn't he on trial for that? This month?

I imagine the target on his back will be pretty large, seems to have plenty of skeletons in that closet.
