    I think most people in America have it too good to risk their comfort to actually revolt. That's true...but...perception is reality my friend. As long as these nuts believe the threat is real they will act on it.

    Pundits, media, scholars, libs, were all outwardly wrong wrong wrong. No rug sweeping to be done about

    Trump's first year in office basically will be the Gloat Year for supporters. GOP'ers arent taking taking a decade of criticism and just looking the other way now. And Trump is not the man to call for humility in his party..

    Nothing. If Republicans are as terrible to Democrats as Democrats were to Republicans the last 8 years then that's what I would expect. Given that Trump doesn't believe in anything though, I don't see it being a problem.

    I think once the economy tanks and the deficits balloon after all the cuts and increased spending - I wouldn't be surprised if Dems regain everything in 2020. Of course, cleaning up Republican messes is what the Democrats do - rinse wash and repeat.

    It's really just a cycle at this point. One guy holds office for 4-8 years, him and his party gets blamed for everything wrong with the country and gets replaced...then that guy holds office for 4-8 years....repeat.

    Nice dream. Unfortunately, THIS was the election cycle the Republicans were on defense in the Senate. In 2018, Democrats will be defending 25 seats and Republicans eight. Basically zero chance to pick up seats for the Democrats.

    Republicans basically get 4 years of running everything.

    This is the first time since 1928 the Republican party has held command of the Presidency, Senate and House. In 2018, the Democrats will be defending 25 seats...the Republicans defending just 8.

    Basically, this means the Republicans will most likely have 4 years in power for the Presidency, Senate and House.
