Some policy sure but 9/11 still happens regarding who is POTUS. 9/11 changed the world more than any POTUS who did or didn't win. And yet the sun will rise in a few hours and here we are voting for another President like we do every 4 years and we'll do it again in another 4. Again, 9/11 changed the world not who won any election.
I have respect for this. I know exactly how you feel. Im in Georgia and I was pretty confident Trump was going to win. It was much easier to cast a protest vote knowing your vote really doesn't matter. But either way, I still think i would have voted Johnson, even though I think he is the worst candidate of them all.
Maybe now Obama will pass an executive order to legalize weed so we can all be so high we don't care what's going on.
I just find it hilarious the beat up 1994 Ford Pinto with 220,000 miles and a muffler hanging off it that America has bought from Trump. You think Mexico is actually going to pay for a wall on the Southern Border? You really think he's going to bring companies that have gone overseas back to America? You legitimately think he's going to bring a severely divided country back together when he's worked so hard to drive a wedge of malice between us all? The thing I find most ironic is that these "average" everyday people voted for Trump because they believe he's an outsider and hes going to represent them. Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, has never had to work hard for anything he's gained his whole life, and has broken laws some places, and skirted them in many others, while bullying his way to the oval office. How is that anything like you? My own father, who is a redneck, born and raised in Texas, that loves to deer hunt, fish, and collect guns at his double wide on 2 acres in boonie-land, Texas told me he was going to vote Trump because he was "like me." That's the first, and last, time I've ever laughed at my dad to his face. Man, this is bad.
This is gonna be a heck of a 4-year run... ------ NEW YORK — Attendees at Donald Trump's election night festivities celebrated the announcement of projected wins for the Republican nominee by turning on Hillary Clinton and chanting: "Lock her up!" The mood inside Trump's Tuesday night event at the New York Hilton Midtown hotel was festive, if slightly disbelieving, as Fox News hosts called state after state for the Republican nominee. Jubilant early on, the crowd drifted into relative quiet during a lull in projected results. But they became more raucous as Fox News called Wisconsin for Trump, chanting "U–S–A!" and "Lock her up!" in reference to Trump's Democratic opponent. Trump supporters also cheered at somber footage of the corresponding gathering at Clinton's election night event at the nearby Jacob Javits Convention Center, and at commentary from Fox hosts about the feasibility of repealing the Affordable Care Act. http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-election-night-lock-her-up-chant ---- The expect Trump to follow through. Will he?
That crap candidate is beating the Democrat crap candidate. I have not and never have been a Trump supporter although I did vote for him as the lesser of two evils. At least he has promised to appoint conservative judges to the SCOTUS which is the only reason I voted for him. I was a Cruz supporter in the primary.
Oh for sure, I was a "Never Trump" guy, so I absolutely blame them for nominating him.....but he couldn't have won if not for Obama being a failure of a president and the Democrats nominating a criminal.
I can't wait for the series debut of The Running Man. Random Muslim dude doesn't stand a chance against Captain Freedom.
Yeah I know how this will go. 4 years from now you won't find anyone that has voted for Trump. Just like 8 years of Bush you had to really dig to find someone admit they voted for him. I'm not saying you are lying, but anecdotally this seems to happen a lot.
from scale of 0 to 10 how shocking and surprising is the results? I really want to know what older CF poster say.
