I used to think that before GW Bush was elected. When he won, I actually thought it was hilarious, and that he would end up being like a funny little mascot for the country sitting as president in the white house. It was hilarious. Then the Iraq war happened, and all of the crap that spawned from that, plus the huge crash of 2008. I had to start thinking differently. It does have consequences. I think we should all hope for the best. But nobody knows, and that includes Trump. He never thought he would win.
honestly Dream, this is basically the problem right now with the left in general, and also with the left-leaning media and pollsters who took their own predictions for granted. And who mocked the "uneducated" and "less intelligent" voters who vote Republican.
I mean really... what new did Trump add? Just volume. Unabashed and not-ashamed volume. The GOP prepared the food and set the table, then Trump bogarted the meal and ate it. The GOP needs to own this. They railed against objectivity; against reason; against evidence-based thinking. And praised self-victimhood and party loyalty. There have been warnings for a long time that that kindle was ripe for wildfire.
Wow! So now you're calling me a liar and disputing my claim on who I voted for? Nice. Once Obamacare is gone, it will make it affordable to me and the young and healthy middle class. And yes, I will fault the Republicans if the repeal Obamacare and do nothing ot address the pre-existing conditions.
It's funny that folks like SamFisher and others were dismissive Bernie's influence during the primaries. Yet it was an indicator that the outsider discontent would show up in elections more than people predicted. Certainly is was the outsider sentiment that helped him carry much of the areas that he did carry. I guess hindsight is always 20/20. It looks like Trump will win PA as well too.
What does that have to do with the crap candidate the GOP put up? You can't even own up to him and be proud that he's won? This is your day, own up to it man. You won.
seems like only precents getting numbers in are heavily democrat in current states that Trump is winning. still too close to call
Barack Obama is now viewed more positively than Ronald Reagan was in 1988 Obama didn't put Trump in office bro. Not by a long shot. The fact that the conservatives here are trying to shift blame away from their own party for electing Donald Trump has got to be one of the weirdest damned things I have ever seen.
If Obama had actually accomplished some positive things while in office and the Democrats hadn't nominated a criminal for president then we wouldn't have to suffer through 4 years of Trump.
Hail Mary time. We still have the faithless electors right? It's an electors responsibility to save the nation and do the right thing, and if this doesn't qualify, I don't know what does.
