A lot of the Trump supporters without college degrees are going to be just as disappointed in 4 years as they are now. Or maybe they won't because it's always easier to blame someone else for your faults.
No, it's because the Republicans nominated Donald Trump. Stop blaming the Democrats for who the Republicans nominated.
Seriously, what the hell is going on? I have an Australian passport and seriously considering buying a ticket there before the year is out.
Remember all those polls that had Bernie Sanders way, WAY ahead of Clinton in head-to-head vs. Trump? Do-over, anyone?
You have to credit Trump - he ran a smart campaign by focusing on tapping into people's anger. Clearly Sanders would have been the better candidate against Trump. This country is horribly divided and I can not see Trump uniting this country.
Greg Gutfeld had an interesting commentary tonight on Fox. He said this wasn't just a repudiation of Democrats...it was a repudiation of the culture that has MOCKED the folks who voted for Trump...in Washington, New York, Hollywood...anyone considered the "elite". Another guy who had it right? Michael Moore. He knew these people...and he absolutely called it.
Numbers are showing that women did not support Hillary. Dems were super cocky and arrogant, took many large groups of people for granted.
Trump gaining in PA. If it wasn't so shameful and scary, it would be hilarious. There were some smug Hillary supporters. We have to hope that Trump isn't really a Russian puppet. We have to hope that he will abandon his plans to base his foreign policy off of committing war crimes, we have to hope that he won't base his immigration policy off of something that has already been ruled unconstitutional. He has promised he would do every single one of those things. Hopefully he will have to amend those things. Nobody knows for sure. It's all up in the air. Crazy stuff. It already appears like citizens of the United States may well lose some protected rights if Trump closes it out. So that's quite sad. I don't think Trump ever thought this would happen.
Funny to read posts from republicans here criticizing the media and blaming Democrats for Trump winning. You folks nominated him. You folks supported him. You voted for him. You can't even take responsibility for the guy you elected. Think about that.
Because he is so unpopular? I agree if that's what you're saying. Republicans and Dems will finally work together because they will have to now.
Those voters are already seeing decline. They got nothing else. Of course, if Trump thinks like them, who knows if he'll scorch the earth to bring everyone else down with him. Regardless of tomorrow's outcome, I'll eat crow for wanting to push for Bernie. While I don't like Hillary, she'd probably had better chances if she didn't swing too left in the primaries or at least pivoted back.
Oh buddy. With this bunch, nothing is going to happen. Considering very little policy was talked about, I am expecting nothing at all. All I am hoping for is Obamacare is gone! Then we can start the nationalization process the way it should be.
