They've played a total of 7 games and all of 1 at home. Losing to the cavs and hawks on the road isn't terrible and other than the Lakers, have taken care of business when they've needed to. The sample size is hardly proof of anything regarding the direction of this season.

I don't know why some people are whining.

It's still too early in the season to specifically know what we are capable of.

We lost a star in Howard and added two good role players in Anderson and Gordon.

While getting some valuable production from our young assets.

Just enjoy the ride and let them gel.

Good win. I really wish we'd address our rebounding problem. Giving up that man offensive rebounds will destroy us against better teams

He is likely to do that. Don't bother with this dude. He knows very little about basketball and is thin skinned. Any slight criticism Rockets related, he takes it personally and puts you on ignore which is in all likelihood a good thing.

See below. he has so many on ignore that he enjoys talking to himself.

Harden is a beast, MDA at least didn't give Brewer many minutes, but struggling against bad teams is a worrisome sign. Not good

couldn't agree more! Especially when we have gordon out there Ennis isn't left to be a playmaker. He can PNR, drive and kick and thats all we ask of him until pbev gets back

Some of us are fans of the whole team rather than only of a specific player, hence if we are on track to get the 8th seed at best after being a contender just two years ago, we aren't gonna be THAT happy after on ugly win over a bad team.

This. OKC isn't the best team in the West, just off to the best start.

Agreed. I'd like to see what happens as the schedule balances out and we start playing more home games. OKC is quite surprising but I think the rockets have a better team over the course of the season.

My love for the Rockets was really tested last night. I had to wait 40 minutes to get an agent to fix an incorrect blackouts issue with League Pass. It was blocking Rockets but should have been blocking Spurs. So they gave me a temp/VIP account to use till Saturday. Well, at half time I tried to switch computers and got locked out of that account, waited 35 minutes to speak to a Tier 2 agent and was disconnected when I was next in line...so I waited AGAIN, another 25 minutes to finally get a new account. I didn't start the second half till 915. I had to cover my eyes and try and find the "watch" button because you can't hide scores on PC.

    screw NBALP...

Good gravy. We just need someone who can dribble and pass? LOL
We don't need him to make jumpshots, dribble and finish OR make FT's apparently.
We just need a warm body and Eric Gordon on our 2nd unit.
Pretty much ANY NBA player can fill the role of dribble and pass.

Gordon is not James Harden. I like Gordo, but he plays better as a complimentary scorer, not the main man
Shut down Gordon and who do we have left to shoot and score?
Ennis? LOL. Can't even make 2 FT's standing still
McDaniels? Coming around on his shot but not exactly a go-to playmaker
    Nene? Undersized and been iffy
Dekker? Has his moments but relies on back cuts and transition

So we're good with playing 4 on 5 with our second unit?
1 guy to dribble around and try to pass to the other 4.
Sorry, but I'm not seeing what you are seeing except someone to wear a uniform

We are on the same page. Now we just need to find the corner and then turn it.

I love the game profile for James this game. Get the guys involved early, take over himself late.

I use NBA League Pass just for the single team option to watch the Rockets using the NBA Gametime app (not DirecTV like for full season NBA League Pass if I bought that). I noticed they re-did their NBA Gametime app (running from XBox One) this season. But, they seemed to have gotten rid of any way to rewind or fast-forward. I can flip from the NBA Gametime app to watch live TV on XBox One and seemingly come back to the game to pick up where I left off. But, if for any reason, then I exit out of the game feed and have to get back in, it just picks up with the live action with no way to rewind. Also, they seem to have got rid of the live box score option in the app...which is frustrating.

They upgraded their damn app (seems mainly layout and look/feel) but it feels like a total downgrade. Am I missing something?

As for the game, I actually felt bad about the way the Rockets were playing early on because it was tit-for-tat shooting with no defense. But, I was pleased with the 4th period when we picked it up a notch up until we tried to give it away by being slopturds. But, it still just felt like Washington threw the game away with sloppy play in the 4th versus our defense being the difference. A couple of times...they threw the ball right to our defenders...like...gee thanks for the ball. I guess you can say that is good defense. LOL

OKC squeaked the Clippers and lost to the Warriors. The rest of their schedule has been bad to awful teams.

We will see how they fare against the Clipps in the rematch and the Raptors before a fair analysis can be made

How many teams have 5 effective players on their 2nd unit? If we have 4, then I think we are ok.

I've decided all I want for this season is a 4-5 matchup with the Utah Jazz...just for old times sake.
