Man, I really feel like this is what they are trying to do to me too. It would hurt so much. I have devoted so many hours of watching this team every year since 1986. But I just can't take Sewer in the starting lineup. It has taken away all my energy for tonight's game.

Just because Corey Brewer is the worst non-rookie on the roster doesn't mean he shouldn't start.

At first I thought, "Maybe some team wants to see Brewer play some real minutes before committing to him in a trade." Then I actually read the Chronicle story. MDA's reasoning is that he wants Brewer to guard John Wall and bring Gordon fresh off the bench etcetera etcetera yada yada yada.

So, Brewer is going to guard John Wall to start the game. Fingers crossed and pass me the JD. No, no, not a shot: the whole bottle. Thank you.

At one point during Mcfail's tenure, some fans wanted Corey Brewer to start. :D

I'm confused why the only player on our team that brings it and tries balls-out every game is also our most hated.

I get that Brewer's efficiency has gone down, but I'm not sold on him being a completely useless player. Yet.

The Rockets Organization is an out of control gambler on full tilt at the casino started with 8 million dollars and lost it all but can't drag themselves away from the table about to take a second mortgage out on the Toyota Center to try and get their 8 million back.

Pretty much every Rocket not named Harden had a career worst season last year. It's not like Brewer is a lot of years removed from being a productive, positive player. I think he fits D'Antoni's scheme well, and is still one of our better defenders. I'll give him some time, hopefully he surprises tonight

He's a career 29% 3 point shooter and he plays little to no defense. Basically the only thing he's good at is running really fast. What is it that he does well that you think justifies his presence on the court ever.

Bold prediction: Tonight Corey Brewer proves his worth and becomes an irreplaceable cog in the starting lineup. (JK, but he is still one of our best defenders and better at defense than yall give him credit for)

I don't know if you want to call a player who reaches on every defensive possession which puts our defense at an disadvantage when he gets beat off the dribble, one of our best defenders.

Really.... because Terrence Jones is currently starting for the NOLA Pelles and is beating Brewer in nearly every NBA category in this young season.

We must be hitting an all-time low then in the NBA for what constitutes as a "starter".

Well, to be fair he only started 1 game and his 18% 3 point shooting this season is super impressive.

Then he just needs to pass the ball instead of shooting it the 7 out of 10 times he is going to miss.

You can't be talking about brewer lol....yes, he hustles but that is not an attribute belonging solely to him.

Has to go. He needs a change of scenery, we need that roster spot. Dekker and McDaniels are more than capable of backup SF minutes.

Trade him to his old pal Jason Kidd or his father JB Bickerstaff. Maybe the Mavs want to get nostalgic about their 1 championship.

Honestly though, waiving him will save us time, money and wins long term. We will have to pay someone in picks to take him. I don't want to give up a first rounder, and we are not near luxury tax. Just waive the guy if there's no one who'll take him for maximum 2 2nd rounders.

Please send him to the D League to play with the RGV so he can up his value.

what if we send him to the D leagues and he plays even worst there and diminish his value. Brewer will always be a gamble on whatever way we do with him but at least he's still better than Ennis.
