I took that as a typo, those are no big deal. Fundamentally flawed logic on the other hand....

It's going to be interesting especially with the rumor that many in the FBI were actively working to try to finding something to stick to bring charges for her. She may attempt to clean house. I would expect it actually...she's definitely ruthless enough.

Anyone that supports Hillary is a traitor. She placed classified information on a private server. If you support that candidate for President, no other conclusions can be drawn.

There. Are we all even now?

For sure, you elect any criminal and put them over the people who tried to bust them and those are going to be the first people that they try to get rid of. If Al Capone was elected president, he'd have fired Eliot Ness first thing.

You don't know the first thing about what I think about what Trump says (obviously) since I have rarely spoken about it here. What I have said though is not what anyone would call supportive. Go look at my posting history about Trump if you don't believe me.

Assuming you're right (which I don't think is ridiculous BTW), a republican congress will hold him to account. Your reason for supporting Clinton went along those same lines...why wouldn't you assume they would do the same for suddenly "changed" Trump? They've been standing up to him the whole year through the campaign.

Its like you hold Trump to a tougher standard on being a conservative than you do Clinton. Its bizarro world again.

I don't believe that Trump is any more of a conservative than Hillary AND I think Trump could cause serious problems running his mouth like a moron. Could a Republican congress keep him in check when it comes to SCOTUS justices and some other things? Sure. Can they keep his mouth shut and stop him from causing international incidents? I seriously doubt it.

As opposed to the lying, proven corruption, and stupidity a Clinton administration would bring to foreign policy as evidenced by the Russian reset (Crimea takeover/Ukraine threaten), the Syrian and Libyan debacles, the complete mishandling of the Arab Spring, the horrible Iran deal, her Clinton Cash dealings with Russia, Saudi Arabia, Haiti, Columbia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the ultimate screw up of her time as SoS....the rise of ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Oh and lest we forget, her husband allowing the Rwandan genocide and rise of Al Queda during his time in office.

    That's who you trust more?

I think keeping him in check would be tough politically for republicans in the house. Actively working against him on legislation would really empower alt right/extreme tea party candidates in primaries and you'd see big house cleaning in the house. Ryan would almost assuredly lose his speakership if he didn't voluntarily step aside first and by the end of a trump term I think the House would be stained with the blood of moderate republicans. It might actually be the only way democrats can regain the house; primary deaths for electable republicans in districts where democrats can challenge.

I'm not sure where that link goes given that it appears to be behind a paywall or whatever but I can tell via the link title that it's probably something to do with military members supporting Trump....that might impress some people but as a veteran myself, I know that you can come up with a group of active military and veterans to support literally anyone. It doesn't really sway me one way or the other.

I simply don't trust Trump and never will. He's a con man that doesn't have the temperament for the office. Hillary is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY bad too, but that doesn't make her worst then Trump......and I'm generally a right leaning Libertarian saying that.

Its a list of 88 retired admirals and generals who support Trump. Either you think these former highly ranked military officers are traitors/stupid OR your assertion about the "danger" of Trump is mostly overblown media fed BS...put out by a left leaning press that successfully has driven that narrative home with you.

I have issues with Trump, but nothing that comes close to the PROVEN stupidity/audacity/corruption of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

What do you think of the hundreds of former diplomats and intelligence officials who have said things ranging from what Bobby said about trump to him being an unwitting agent for Russia? Far more of them who take that approach than military people supporting trump.

You can't possibly watch Trump handle himself and think that his mouth isn't potentially dangerous if he was put in office. I simply don't believe you.

You could point out 1000 generals who support whatever candidate you want to promote and it wouldn't make an impression on me. The military is overwhelmingly right wing, it's not surprising that you could find a lot of military members to support ANY Republican candidate. You could probably do something similar for ANY Democratic candidate. It doesn't mean anything to me. Members of the military are prone to being blinded by partisanship just like anyone else.

Honestly though we're arguing over which consistency of feces is preferable to eat, it just seems kind of ridiculous. The Republicans failed the country with their nomination, the Democrats failed the country with their nomination. Party loyalty almost entirely explains any strong support of either of those two douchebags.

I think they are voicing a political opinion that has as much validity as the list I produced.

In other words, its all noise. The point I'm making is the narrative that the political left has driven home with absolute success using their propaganda army (the likes of CNN, NYT, WaPo, Huffington Post, Politico, MSNBC, etc) has driven the public to a near hysteria with regards to Trump. I'm more of the type of person that looks at what the man has done. If he was such a looney tune, how the hell did he build the empire he did? Were all the people he did business with just stupid? Is he some sort of evil genius?

It doesn't pass the smell test. It looks like a political hit job and the public has bought it hook, line, and sinker.

    See above.

Wait, are you saying anyone who builds a financially successful business can't be dangerous?

Wait, are you saying Trump only became dangerous since he became a politician?

No I think he has a long history of being someone who would be dangerous if given power in government.
