I'm just saying give them time to gel. This is practically a new team running a different offense ( same principle). They have 4 new rotational player, therefore, they are still learning one another on both ends of the court.

    Rome wasn't built overnight!

    (Maybe not you , but)

    A game where
-STARTING PF goes 4 for 13, TWO def rebounds
-starting SG goes 3 for 11, ZERO 3's
-starting C has 10 combined fouls and turnovers, ZERO blocks
    -backup C goes 1 for 5
-other bench SF goes 1 for 6
    - (NO defense and rebounding from ANYONE)

and its all this hand wringing over Corey Brewer? Yes, Brewer is bad/mediocre. Yes there are internal alternatives. But no he's not a central cause for ALL the issues of this team. I saw a post that his "sucking is 'contagious' to the team".... If Brewer can cause ALL those team issues, he's something worse than a scrub, he's some diabolical satanic spellcaster.

Brewer would seriously be addition by subtraction - when Bev comes back, I HOPE that Brewer moves to the end of the bench & KJ takes all of his minutes. Dekker is even better than Brewer at this point.

Harden essentially signed a 1-year extension for a $50 MM uplift. So unless he was going to sign a contract after next year starting at $50 MM per year, there's no way he will regret the extension.

Team is 3-3 losing to 3 decent teams on the road and people are already talking about Harden regretting his extension? Get that garbage out of here.

2/3 is the Rockets' deepest position. He's not the problem.

Frontcourt is the issue. If 2-4 million is the difference that's preventing Donuts from signing that's Nene & Ennis but then Morey's probably messing around with team options. Just give him an 8-10M, 1+1 deal, ie player option, already.

OKC only had to give up two protected second round picks for Joffrey from the Nuggets. He would've been an upgrade over any bigson the roster right now...

Even old, disinterested and broken Dwert would be the 2nd best player on this roster and it wouldn't even be close.

Maybe from a personnel perspective. But learning to play together, getting accustomed to what your teammates like, where they like to be on the floor, what kind of passes they can handle, developing nonverbal communication on the floor are all things that should improve over the course of the year and into next.

According to the refs, the Hawks played a much kinder and gentler game than we did.
26 fouls on Rockets vs only 13 on ATL. Yeah, right.
When you send a team to the line 13 more times, THAT in itself is the difference in the game
Then when you throw in points off our turnovers it's game over

It amazes me how quickly so many people start hating on the Rockets. I, for one, think we have a much better team than last year, and have really enjoyed watching our guys when they light up the 3's. Yeah, it was a bad game, but it's still early, and I see a lot of potential in these guys. It will be great having Beverly back soon. GO ROCKETS!

So we haven't made it out the 1st round in 5 years.

I can only imagine what you would do to yourself if you were a 76ers fan.

5 games man 5 freaking games.

I really think its immature when you have people simply telling the truth and then you have chuckle heads calling them bad fans, lol. You're not a bad fan for simply telling the truth you're a realist. The same people calling all the realist's haters and bad fans are probably the same people that were telling people they were bad fans after the 3 game loss last year to begin the season. Any real person could see at that point that unless the Rockets made some real changes they wouldn't be a very good team. Its the same this year, I didn't expect much from this team this year but after seeing the way Harden and Gordon play with each other you could see Houston being a great team if they had the right role players. This makes it all the more annoying that we have the Sewer and Anderson contracts with no center to speak of. The excuse for Morey is he tried but couldnt do better, well lets find someone who can.

Did he actually try to obtain a center? Al Horford wasn't the answer this team needs on the defensive end or as a starting C. He really did nothing to address the starting C spot once D12 left. Instead he chose to give Ryno a ridiculous contract and throw defensive out the window. I

Well since you believe this team will be a bad team, why even watch the game?

What is complaining going to get you anyways?

You do realize their three wins came from two teams that are a combined 2 and 14. The Rockets are the Texans, they cannot be any decent teams. Sorry I dont share the same enthusiasm for a team just because they're more pleasing to watch on offense than last season's circus show.

still, having him on the floor makes everyone's job more difficult on offense because of the poor spacing that he provides. And he never knocks down the open three to the pointer to the point where his teammates don't even pass him the ball when he's wide open. That is detrimental and it can spark a run for the other team
