I think he meant to say that there are 5 positions and he can't play any of them.

Sounds like Brown and Brewer then, whose only position is on the bench

But if "his long 3 balls are 50/50", we need to find Ryno a position. :p

I'm glad I'm not the only one who would take a 50% shooter lol...

Well that's the issue. Maybe we can get the NBA to create a "designated shooter" position that will allow for players who are awesome offensively and terrible defensively to find spots on starting lineups. They did something similar in the MLB and it's been fairly popular among young fans.

In seriousness though, he's gotta stay in the starting lineup with his 3 point shooting and his ridiculous contract no matter what happens. We'll just have to learn to live with the fact that he's not going to play any defense.

Well, one could argue the American League allows the best defenders on the field who absolutely suck at offense to have someone do offense for them.

What's sad is the Rockets don't have anyone to play that awesome defender role, either.

Good to know that we have fans that can look past the box score and see the value Anderson has in opening up the floor for Harden. Well, we don't actually have that, but it'd be a whole lot cooler if we did.

i dont even think ariza can guard 5 positions, let alone ryan. can ryan even guard one position? i dont know, doesnt look like it.

20m per, 4 years, ALL YEARS GUARANTEED! morey's way of saying "eat **** rockets fans!"

as long as they utilize him properly in the offense, he'll make up for his bad defense. if he can just be a positional defender, like move around and contest shots, thats good enough. he doesnt have to do a whole lot

He's better in a bench role where his value will shoot up if he only plays like 27 minutes and he continues to hit 40% from deep.

Is there any way the Rockets would consider trading him?

If all he's going to bring to the table is shooting then you may as well play Wiltjer there who is making muuuch less.

u cant play 80m/4y 25mpg...unless you happened to stumble upon a solid starting pf w/o gutting the team.

srs they have to give him a high usage rate or utilize him in the offense more, which is same thing i think? they cant just have him a sa spot up shooter. good thing its only 5 games. still tons of time.

    T.Jones >>>>>>>>>>>>>> R.A
    JoshSmith>>>>>>>>>>>>R.A
    DMo>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>R.A

even Brewer is better : he can run, jump, hustle , & does't take much space on bench seats

Yeah and Harden is a top 4 player in the league. leads the league in assists and is top 5 in scoring. Great comparison

Y'all can b**** but Rhyno and his agent are laughinh at Maury and the Rockets everyday for handing out this ludicrous contract.

No wonder the dude keeps saying he is feeling blessed and loves Houston

    It's those $$$$.

Ask Salmon hill and he will say the same about NOP
