I should have listened to myself when I said at the end of last season that I would no longer support the team if Morey kept either Brewer or Bickerstaff. I must be a glutton for punishment.

Bobby brown , Ennis , Brewer need to never play again.

Nene needs to be put on extended vacation if we get Dmo .

Those moves plus getting bev back and I'm pretty happy with our squad . KJ and Dekker are learning a bit every game , but they are role players . You can't expect to stick Dekker out there with Ennis and a struggling Gordon and nene and Brewer and expect things to look good .

This is the first red X against Mike . Gordon was a train wreck tonight and he didn't put him in position to succeed

It's actually a pretty good article, I just read it. It's about legitimate plays on the ball, and not just planting and falling over.

No need to get into it, or anyone of us get all huffy and argue. Just sayin'.

Sorry dude, i'm a Rockets fan from 20 years, not a Harden's fan boy from 3, deal with it. In fact you're way more close than me to being one of those Warriors bandwagoners.

No handshake from Harden or Ariza or Capela. KJ and Montrezl the only ones to go over and talk to Dwight after the game.

On the good side, at least we pulled a Knicks on the road vs at Home like the Knicks did.

I actually agree with your post about Capela earlier. I think we should look into trading him, he just doesn't command any presence in the post or on the boards. Yeah he's good at getting lobs and such but most bigs in the NBA can do that.

Amazing how you think harden is in anyway to blame for the outcome .

Also, Howard is such a huge defensive presence. The alley oops and dribble drives become three times as hard when he is engaged.

I'm not sad that he left, but it still stings that we didn't address defensive rebounding or rim protection with our personnel moves, except limited minutes from Nene, who was actually a liability in this ticky tack foul fest where the refs decided to give the Hawks a 2-for1 deal on fouls.

Anderson bro. ****ing Anderson makes Juwon Howard look like KG and Dirk did a fusion DBZ style.

In about 25 years of watching the Rockets I don't think I've ever seen a team that maybe completely incapable of turning up the defensive effort.

Honestly I like Gordon but trading him Anderson, Ariza, Brewer, and Nene and just play KJ, Dekker, Harrel, Capela with Harden and tank would at least be a plan towards competing. This mediocrity is just depressing.

We simply had a better offensive game against the Lakers and Cavs. The Cavs were cruising against us. The Raptors gave them a better fight actually BTW. Anyway, I have no problem with losing to the Cavs, but I said something that night about how lackadaisical we were defensively, and expressed concern that since we were so good offensively and hanging around that game, we wouldn't continue to focus on the defensive end.

It took an embarrassment opening night for us to properly focus a bit on defense the next two games, but haven't seen the same intensity on that end since. I was concerned with the defense after we hired MDA, but I hoped that we would at least be in the 15-20 range since we hired that defensive coordinator guy and there was so much talk about defense all summer. But so far it's been worse than I feared and the stats bear that out.

Rockets were in Atlanta all yesterday while Hawks were getting beat in the capital. Surely Harden is fatigued this early into the season after such a great offseason.
