Rockets need to take this game seriously after that scrimmage against the Knicks, the Hawks lost two consecutive games so i think they'll play at their best at home to win this.

 

Slightly cool story. Wife and I coming back from Homegrown GA for brunch and on our way up to our room we run into the man and his little boy. Turns out we all have the same first name. He sees we're all decked out in Rockets gear and asked us if we play the hawks tonight and if thats our team, we said yes of course. As we get off the elevator he tells us he used to be a Rockets fan one year, back when his cousin played for the team, I asked him who his cousin was, he said Walt Williams! played with francis and them. Unfortunately the elevator door closed before we could talk more, but we managed to tell each other to have a good one. Good ole Wizard!

 

They're gonna be hungry but also tired. They played last night so we need to control the pace early and make this a track meet.

 

I agree and i hope you're right, they should've lost some energy trying to come back yestarday.

Also, hack a Dwight is going to happen or not?

Much as I'm a big fan of Dwight, I'm confident the Rockets will run his new team into the ground. They're tired, coming out of a back 2 back and morale must be low with 2 consecutive losses, perfect time for Harden and the Rockets to turn up the pace and shoot 3s all over the court. On defense put the goon squad on Dwight and foul him whenever the Hawks start to get something going. Too bad we got rid of Dorsey we could've had him get the same haircut as Dwight and confuse the heck out of the Atlanta players lol.

 

Gotta win, Let's go Rockets!

Had no idea we had lost 5 straight to the Hawks. Now would be a good time to break that streak.

 

The Hawks have lost important personnel over the last two seasons. Horford and Teague are gone now. Splitter's hurt. Carroll left in free agency the year before. Korver's 35 now. They still play tough, but they aren't deep. I think they'll have a worse record than they did last year. Will probably play .500 ball For tonight's game, Schroder, Millsap, and Dwight still scare me though.

 

That would be fun to watch

 

Be interesting to see which Howard shows up tonight.

1) The Howard that wants to prove to his previous team that he is a force under the basket and takes 15+ shots in the paint tonight
2) The Howard that wants to prove he is a team player and doesn't force anything tonight

 

It all depends on what others say about him, much like a child...

I wonder If he will play hard? I haven't seen that in a long time.
