Lakers are a good young team. They will have some bad nights but also a lot of nights like these. They are no easy win.
Hopefully this puts to rest all of the dumbass Klay Thompson > James Harden bullshit spewing out from the bandwagon Golden State warrior fans.
Not even just bandwagoners. I'd say at least 50% of the NBA fans and 80% of analysts truly believe this. It's a shame.
I gotta apologize to James Harden for ever doubting him. This team was a mess last season and had incompetent coaching for years prior. I'm not sure about D'Antoni but lets hope it works out.
Tried to tell people the Lakers were a good young team. They are going to be a problem if they keep trending upward the way they should.
It was like voting for Dennis Scott or Peja Stojakovic over Kobe or T-Mac because the latter players had a mediocre team record. Literally the worst ALL-NBA selection of this decade.
Think we have to start talking about a few things...mainly Klay and Curry...Klay looks like just some random role player out there. Curry? He used to look unstoppable. Chemistry is an odd thing, it takes a mental block to get past it. I remember Bron and Wade and Bosh basically said it came down to Wade just accepting being the B-side player. Sure Curry says it in the interviews that it's all about the team and whatever...but socmetimes it's not that. I remember some time back I made a point that Dwight ruins Harden's game. It had nothing to do with them disliking each other...it had more to do with the pace of the game. Harden likes to control the pace of the game, it keeps him in flow and in rhythm. That's why the team had their best season without Dwight. It wasn't some coincidence. It wasn't a coincidence that the Thunder kept Harden on the bench. He needs the ball and he needs that control. Dwight comes in the game, gets on the low block, and ruins whatever flow Harden has. I wonder if it's the same for Curry and Durant. Durant is always going to get his shots. Before Curry was the ISO guy. Yeah the Warriors had their ball movement and team play...but when they needed a bucket who did they go to? It was Curry. It was his time to shine. Now, I'm not saying the Warriors will have a bad season. I think the Lakers are a sneaky good team right now. I'm just saying...Curry looks different. He looks a lot like the Curry that played with another guy who needed the ball. Monta Ellis. I think between Curry and Durant, one of them has to decide that he's going to be the Robin. Durant said he'd be that and it was assumed he'd just play the Barnes role and 'Fit in' instead...he's finding himself carrying another team.
Warriors played like sh*t. Well deserved lost. Fu*cking lost to Lakers AGAIN!?..I'm starting to think Kyrie > Curry.
Its scary how good the lakers are now that they're actually trying to win games. They missed the boat on porzingis but still managed to get some good players on their squad.
All those Warrior loving media types were roasting the Rockets for losing to the Lakers (Rachel Nichols). I just wanna say, "Oh Hi..."
Please let the Warriors keep losing games like this, I hate the Lakers but watching them blow up the "Super team" was hilarious.
Warriors deserve this ****. I hope they rot even further and never get any chemistry together. I want them to crash and fail so bad. I want internal conflicts, players like Klay and Curry crying about KD taking their shots etc You don't go star chasing when you've just got the all time record. Right now adding KD doesn't looked to have improved them because KD even though a great player is taking away from their chemistry and taking shots away from Curry and Klay. Plus they also lose Bogut, Barnes and some severe depth Their bench used to look scary but now with Iggy a year older, it looks like on of the bad benches in the league David West? Varejao? LMAO
Speaking that truth! Appreciate the insights. I agree with you 100%. The warriors are a team that was destined for greatness. The fact that they even allowed Durant to interview let alone join the team screams a disservice to those players before his signing. Durant is too much of a super star. He's a bonafied super star. When lebron joined the heat, bosh was great but he wasn't a bonafied super star. Wade was great but wasn't a bonafied super star. In bonafied I'm talking top 10 of all time.
