See.... this is the type of comment that is just ignorant.

How has Russia's economy done since Obama leveled sanctions?

Do you know anyone that lives in Russia, or have you been there in the last 2 years? Russia is falling apart.

So the idea that Putin has made Obama or the West into "Russia's fool" is absurd.

Right now the average Russia makes less than a Romanian..... the average Russian now spends almost half their income just on food, which is a third world percentage on par with places in Africa and Venezuela.

Speaking of which, the very definition of the word would be when the Russian leader speaks nicely about your candidate, you suddenly roll over and show him your belly. There are a lot more useful fools around than just Trump.

Ronald Regan would be rolling over in his grave at all these Republicans trying to downplay the nature of this KGB apparatchik. Also, I love the comment that Putin hasn't done anything and its all a big scare tactic by Obama...

The US allies in Georgia and Ukraine might have something to say on that front, as would NATO pilots scrambled to intercept TU-95 bomber runs in the middle of the night. Hell, after Georgi Markov, the Soviet Union refused to do assassinations in the west, but Putin had no compunction about irradiating Alexander Livinenko. Putin's doing stuff that the Soviet Union considered "too much:".

Tell all his neighbors scared out of their wits that Putin is just a big teddy bear and no threat. I'm sure they'll all agree.

You got that backwards, you are Hillary's b****. Wikileak's exposed that. Instead of trying to without evidence pin this on Russia like Hillary tells you to, go ahead and get mad at Julian Assange for outing you.

No one has proved that Russia is behind the leaks. So keep running with your opinion (to borrow from you) your Ultimate Truth. Lol at you talking DOWN to anyone.

My favorite thing about this election is all the "independent" voters on this board that come running to Trump's defense as soon as someone posts something about him.

    Just own it fellas.

    False.

The Guardian: US Officially Accuses Russia of Hacking DNC and Interfering with Election

It takes less than five seconds to Google this so long as your independent streak doesn't prevent you from questioning Trump's fourth-grade-level babbling.

^observe, those of you that I consider peers.

Why are our noxious right wingers so pro-Russian?

It's really odd that somebody...let alone somebody who is attempting to play a non-Trump supporter, would literally prefer an authoritarian Russian criminal despot interests over that of his country and i's democratically elected leader, but here we are in 2016....

    ^Great post.

I'm not familiar with his work, but seems like this guy could be a legit peer candidate.

It's really odd that anyone...much less someone who is the self proclaimed smartest guy on the BBS and possibly the entire internet...... would line up behind a currently double FBI investigated candidate who has been caught red handed lying to investigators but here we are amongst Hillary supporters in 2016.

^as usual, won't answer why he is pro-Russian and knowingly covering for them.

    Question for peers:

This sounds absurd to say, but what are the odds some onanistic teenager on a laptop in Vladivostok has commandeered a couple of cf.net accounts? seems weird and way too small fry, but sometimes I wonder if HRC hate really is that strong.

I suppose you would like for me to believe that your post and your opinion are based on facts.

    What is Russia's unemployment rate?

Since Clinton is not disputing the content of the e-mail, I'm wondering why you are so pro-corrupt candidate.

    Indeed. . . . "Melania Trump . . . born Melanija Knavs . . . in Yugoslavia in the Socialist Republic of Slovenia" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melania_Trump

Melanijia Knavs Trump lived in a Socialist Republic until adulthood. Now she has a fair chance to be First Lady of the United States. Of course she was vetted way better than those Syrians with black beards and stuff! If I were a Trumper, I'd be condemning her "Mexican parents" and scared to Poopville of "a socialist in the White House" and "vetting can't catch people born in enemy countries from striking at the heart of our democracy (White House)."

Maybe because Trump is also a fraud and currently facing lawsuits for defrauding people with his phony University which intentionally targeted folks that were already hurting economically.

I don't want to get awfully into the Ukraine but I actually blame the European Union for that one. In 2014 when the Ukraine had the protest about joining the EU, EU officials actually flew down to Kiev to tell the people they should join the EU:

Imagine that. If it were the other way around and Russia told one of America's allies to come into their sphere of influence, who'll probably agree to have Russian missile bases built there that could reach the US, what would you do? Not to mention the rest of the country was not unified towards joining the EU (the movement was largely in Kiev) and that Ukrainians practically spoke Russian.

The US and Russia, after coming so close to nuclear war in the Cuban missile crisis, had so-called red lines, rules of mutual conduct as to how to behave and not provoke each other, either in treaties or in unofficial understandings. Through the years, both sides tripped over the red lines but they immediately pulled back. Today, the West is totally ignoring those red lines (http://russia-insider.com/en/stephen-f-cohen-nails-it-again/ri11696).

Why the CIA didn't freaking pick up on this at all and dragged the country into this war, I'll never know.

It's an excellent point. Cohete, Space Ghost, Granville, and There'sTheDagger in particular.

I used to try to dispute the idea with a friend that continually claims Americans are mostly stupid but much like Obama drew out all the closet racists, this election has drawn out the ignorant, poorly educated masses. We seriously need an educational system upgrade in this country.
