The Raiders offense will struggle against Denver like they did last season. While Denver's run defense isn't as stout, the Raiders rarely commit to smash mouth football and don't really have the secondary weapons to exploit Denver in the underneath passing game. If Talib is still out, that still leaves Harris and Roby to deal with Cooper and Crabtree. Crabtree is a more physical receiver who will fight for balls, whereas Cooper relies more on speed and route-running to get free. Cooper is also supposedly a little banged up. The Raiders offense has been surprisingly predictable for fantasy purposes this season. Whichever WR has the better CB matchup has done better.
Anyone starting Antone Smith tonight? I'm so tempted to bench Gurley for him but can't abandon the "Start your Studs" mantra @CJLarson Luck. Shootout potential is there.
haha man im kind of in the same boat. I have hyde and it isn't looking too good for him to suit up sunday but I have no idea who this smith guy is
@YOLO You better find out soon because his game is tonight! All I know is that he's a scat back that knows the OC's system so analysts think that he will get the bulk of the carries in tonight's game. He may be sharing a RBBC with Barber who's apparently the bruiser of the bunch and some other guy. I think Atlanta has shoot out potential which is why i want to start him but he could also end up 0 points...
Got a jackpot with Winston Evans duo ... almost 49pts.... and both of em got injured at the end of the game... My team pretty much filled with Q sign (Montgomery, Booker, Mccoy, Walker)
I agree with you Moes... AJ Green has been huge and I regret drafting Miller over him in Round 1. I'd like to still acquire him. I have Hilton, Fitzgerald, Moncrief, Pryor, and Baldwin as WR and Miller, Gordon, Ware, Ajayi, and Lewis as RBs. What package of WR and RB would you recommend approaching the Green owner with? He has Marvin Jones, Diggs, Landry, and DJax as WRs and Bell, Yeldon, and Langford as RBs.
what did you end up doing? I stayed away from TB's backfield. Streamed winston and already have mike evans. Good start for the week
I would try a Ware/Pryor or Ajayi/Fitz combo. It would make your decisions on Sunday much easier as well.
@YOLO Ended up starting only Evans because I forgot to put Antone Smith back into the starting lineup. Thank god!
I have a question about my Flex. I currently have Ty Montgomery in there as I think he will be playing this weekend at RB. My other options include: D.Adams, M.Thomas, T.Riddick, and D.Henry. Would you play Monty or play Thomas or Adams? I'm in a 10 man standard league.
Does your league allow you to play Montgomery as a RB? Adams should be a good play since the game should be a shootout and he has been great the last few weeks. This one, the DAL-CLE game, and SD-TEN games should be very entertaining if you like seeing passing.
@NewRoxFan Monty can only play WR in my league. How would you rank my Flex plays this week? 1. Adams 2. Monty 3. Thomas?
Quick (vs Panthers ), Stills (vs Jets), Wright (vs Chargers), or should I just stick with an injured Travis Benjamin (vs Titans)?
There are all good, but I would rank them in same order you have them... Adams, Montgomery, and Thomas.
