Improved? Has Wiggins and Lavine's putrid defence improved? I know Wiggins' awful passing and rebounding haven't. But I haven't watched the Wolves yet to know if they have improved their d.
i agree they aren't talented, i just meant in this big kd/russ matchup, where kd is already clowning them, they're just staring at kd strolling down the lane for a "thunderous" dunk when they could just reach out and foul him to stop it. i mean he drove like 1 foot away from one guy who had a foot in the lane. you don't have to end kd's career, just slap him on the arm and make him shoot 2 ft's. just for pride if nothing else.
It seems like Wiggins would get more reb, stl, and assists given his athleticism. Yet there's no commitment there. He is a scorer though.
Nope, their defense is still pretty bad from what I've seen but as the season moves on I think Thibs should be able to get them to play better defense. They're still a young team, so not fully committed and prone to making dumb mistakes. But offensively, both have improved their scoring - Lavine in particular. I was watching some of Lavine's workouts in the off-season and I've seen him incorporate many of those moves in his game. He's been hot shooting the ball too - 3.3 makes on 46% from 3.
Thanx for your input. Normally I would disagree about inseason defensive improvement. (Usually in young players you see the difference after training camps). But because THibs has unreal training days during the season they may improve. He needs to start pulling them out. Best way for a young player to learn defence. In the bucks that's what happened with Mids and Giannis to learn defence. When they screwed up they were pulled.
Thank you. There is no denying this. They can't hide Roberson on this team of non-shooters. Wouldn't surprise me if Presti deals him by February.
