" He has misled voters in states like Ohio and MIchigan by asserting that the renegotiation of NAFTA or the imposition of tariffs on China would substantially increase employment in manufacturing. IN fact, manufacturing's share of employment has been declining since the 1970's and is mostly related to automation, not trade. He claims to champion former manufacturing workers, but has no plan to assist their transition to well-compensated service sector positions, Instead, he has diverted policy discussions to options that ignore both the reality of technolgical progress and the benefits of international trade." Also I strongly agree with this and is perhaps the most dangerous part of Trump's campaign. "He promotes magical thinking and conspiracy theories over sober assessments of feasible economic policy options."

I "liked" this post, but it is, of course, terrifying. Not being an economist, I honestly didn't realize just HOW ridiculous and dishonest his economic utterances have been. That letter is not a political piece. It's a bunch of people who understand the economy issuing one last warning to their fellow citizens. I hope people can read it, but I doubt it sways any opinions at this stage, sad to say. Thanks for sharing it though. I'm sharing it with some friends and family.
OK, this is not a knock on Melania Trump at all, but her main focus will be preventing social media bullying? She does realize that Twitter is one of the major social media outlets, right? I mean, the best comedy writers couldn't come up with this. Social media will have a field day with this.
