This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

The thought process when getting Brock was that we would be throwing the long ball
    NOW
We being told . . .he cannot read the long ball and just has to dink and dunk

He can't read the intermediate routes. So they just put two safeties back and he checks down on everything or throws INTs.

Also he can't throw the slant

Fans are all about the now, and what have you done for me lately.. He hasn't looked good, but we are 5-3, and we have always been blown out in prime time, ppl act like this is new just because Brock. I know everyone thinks Colts game was bad because he was so bad against a terrible defense, but what I saw was winning a primetime game against a tough rival by being CLUTCH, have we ever had a clutch QB? if he can work on the first 3 quarters, he could be really good.

"In his first eight games with the Texans, Schaub had a 3-5 record, 1,658 yards, a 67.9 completion percentage, five touchdowns, seven interceptions and an 85.0 rating."

That's actually far better than what Osweiler has done. He also had a y/a about 7.5 vs 5.8 for Osweiler

Except for the win-loss and TD-INT ratios.

As well as more losses and less TDs as well as better completion % than all but Schaub and more yards than all but Moon.....

but I guess whatever supports the narrative.

Honestly, I hope we're scouting Conner.

He's having a down year and could possibly be had in the sixth round (because of s strong running class), though that's a way early prediction to make.

Some people say he should go back another year, but after what he's been through, I doubt he will.

Miller, Blue, and Conner would be a crazy good three headed monster. And then you'd have Ervin just for gigs. That would challenge for the best running corps in the league, in my opinion.

I've been comparing Conner to Bettis for three years. The comparison is not off base, at all. He's a total Texans type kid, too.

Though he's had a down year, I could see him having a breakout game and going for 150 against Clemson.

They've been blown out by every competitive contender they've played. The "quarterback of the future" looks worse than the stop gap QBs we've had the last couple of years. Worst division in football. Our best player has back issues that will likely change his career outlook. But hey, we'll get a playoff home game that Bob McNair can sell out and get blown out in. Maybe next year.

It's just how it works, Houston has always had bad fans, you just have to tune them out.

I understand you're trying to make a point but your first sentence is just incorrect. KC is competitive and they are a contender. The Lions are definitely competitive. If you include Minnesota then you have to include Detroit. If you include Denver, then you have to include KC.

Now if you said "on the road" then you would be 100% accurate.
