I added Dekker to the list because he's pretty much a rookie. Dekker, Wiltjer, and NeNe have been the most surprising but I will have to say Eric Gordon is my favorite new addition. Who's yours?
I'm going with Dekker, because he has size, aggressiveness, and at this point we really don't know how good he can be.
Gordon. When eventually he is coming off the bench I wont be as stressed to see the non starters come in.
Ryan Anderson has been as advertised. I see why Morey signed him for $80 million. Harden used to run the P&R with guys like Josh Smith and Terrence Jones which allowed teams to double Harden off of them. They'd get the ball and either brick a shot, or do nothing with it. D-Mo was okay, just injured and inconsistent.
I do not have a favorite but the closest guy that I like most out of the bunch A healthy Eric Gordon!
Chinaku Onuanukouka Besides his name, I like him because he swallowed his pride and decided to shoot underarm free throws as opposed to so many other bigs who are useless free throw shooters that we know
KJ. I'm considering him new because he's finally getting minutes. Every time I look at the tv he's like 5 feet above everyone in the air. He's a freaking jumping bean.
Ryan Anderson. It's nice to know when he shoots there is close to a 50/50 chance he makes it (making 2.2 per 5 attempts per game).
Eric Gordon easily. Quick trigger and I always feel like he's going to make every 3 he puts up. So far averaging 3 makes a game at nearly 40%. Huge upgrade.
so far I'm not particularly excited by any of them, but it's nice to finally have some shooting around Harden.
Can I vote James "The Point Gawd" Harden? Cause we have not seen this dude before. Not nearly on this level. This is absolutely incredible. Going off your list though, it's close between Anderson and Gordon. I'll go with Gordon for now, but I gotta say man...when Anderson gets those hot streaks and the Harden-Anderson connection gets going...man that is absolute nightmare fuel for the rest of the league.
IDK if he's my favorite 'new' guy, but I really enjoy watching KJ play. Hopefully, he can find his shot soon which would pretty much force coach to play him more. But whenever he's on the floor, I'm just waiting for him to do something spectacular - either a monster slam from 5 feet above the rim or a sick block where he just comes out of nowhere.
I voted for Nene. At the end of the season he will not be the best player on that list, but he came to us on the most bullshit contract. He literally screwed himself over to come to Houston, so that is pretty awesome. Thanks Nene.
LOL - what? 80m for him is far too much, like him but more at the 50m range. As for the topic I have liked Gordon since he was a Clipper. DD
