This team will never win anything with Brock Osweiler at QB!

Satisfied with being the AFC South Champion 4 of the last 6 years? You trot that out like it is some sort of accomplishment.

The Texans went 9-7 last year when they "won" the AFC South and were SHUTOUT in their only playoff game.

Hanging your hat on a 9-7 season meaning anything because you won the weakest division in the NFL means very little.

How far have the Texans gotten in the playoffs in their team history?

How many times have the Texans made the playoffs?

A team that works to improve itself year after year? How has that worked out? Either it is a lie that the Texans have worked year after year to improve or the front office and coaching staff should have been fired a long time ago.

Well....I mean it is, or rather it was considered that when the Colts did it.

Anyway, just save everyone a bit of time and find a bandwagon team and stop pretending to be a Texans fan. It's not a big deal.

You mean the Colts team that went further than the Texans ever have in the playoffs when they last won the South?

Go ahead and save us all a lot of time and energy and admit that you are perfectly complacent with anything the Texans do.

when was it the Texans got a drive past mid field? Mid 3rd Qt or 4th Qt? Brock (196 passing yards and 24 for 41) was awful that game special teams was worse and defense was put between a rock and a hard place because of it. Is it hard to ask your QB to take care of the ball? to throw for 300 yards in today's game? Again a third string QB on short notice made plays that he needed to make while Brock struggled to get the ball past mid field.
Nope just compete against a good team, no **** that win one of those games, and not get embarrassed. Show me improvement and not another 9-7 season. Show that if you make the playoffs you can win a game and then build off that. End the treadmill

As for the schaub thing most people were mad because they passed on Vince young and went into the season with Carr and the following season swapped first and traded two seconds for schaub, because they foolishly believed Vince was a NFL QB that hate was projected on to Schaub. All hate at the time about Matt was around Vince.

Brock has made several good throws this season but the negatives far out way the positives and he continues to show no improvement.

I dont care if he had a perfect rating. I want wins.
And to be fair, I wasn't simply comparing the 2 at QB, I was trying to say that it will take time and people just want to complain. They complained when Schaub did bad, then he got good. They would have rioted if we had Derek Carr that first season... Yes the offense is struggling, but I'm willing to give him a full season to get right. I still think he will get better.

Other than fans not going, what other sort of "pressure" to you suggest they do? And like has been said for the 3rd time, in a sport where there are only 8 home games, in a city of 6+ million people, it would take ABYSMALLY bad football (or a horrible stadium atmosphere) to not sell out these games.

You're again confusing moves that don't work out with moves made with little effort.

I actually think the low-thought/low-effort move would have been taking Paxton Lynch or some other QB project with an early round pick... but they wanted to make a run at somebody with experience in the league, and experience starting.

They've advanced one round further than the Texans post-Peyton Manning. I don't think any franchise should be hanging banners for AFC championship game appearances (even though that's also one round further than the last version of the Oilers ever got).

What about this off-season consisted of "hanging their hat"?

As for the rest of your questions, context doesn't seem to be your strong-suit.... which is ironic since you're all context in regards to the Astros.

we already went as far as a romo can take us back when he had schaubie.
he's going to get hurt. I rather they draft one with that 3rd rounder.

Brock is the 2nd best QB we've had outside of prime Schaub. He's good and will only get better!

Jasyon Braddock makes a couple of points here

-Like how BOB fell in love with Savage so much on one of his first pro days, he passed on QBs in the 2nd
-drops some "sources"; Mcnair and Rick Smith wanted an opportunity to play in the super bowl; going to get a QB that wants to win games and not manage games, McNair and Smith sold BOB on Oz and Jayson feels BOB might have buyer's remorse
-Brock shouldn't worry about losing his job; this is an organization that accepts mediocrity
-Accuracy problems with Brock is one of the reasons we don't see the normal Hopkins; BOB doesn't think Brock has what he labels is a "quick mind", a guy that can sit there and scan through his reads effortlessly; he had success with Kubiak because Kubiak's system was a user friendly offense

Bill O'Brien loves sending out sources to defend him.

He really wants to wash his hands of the Osweiler decision already.

So what does this say about his ability to coach the guy if he is trying to shift blame?

That kind of says what a lot of us saw live, that Nuk ran the wrong route and caused the interception.

It would be nice if he made several good throws per drive instead of per half-season.
