If he was under contract for one or two years, Morey should give it a try. Everybody knows he's been available for quite some time. But at age 34, showing massive signs of decrease and getting paid $13M annually until 2019? No thanks. He would be a possible short term solution creating a definite long term problem.
DeMarcus has moved to the backburner. Sac still trying to keep him and he's buttering up to them right now. May rematerialize at the deadline if they collapse and Demarcus sours again. Noel is another story. You will have to trust me on that UntiL hE is traded....or not. Celtics are a huge factor with Noel too. He's a Boston boy.
Morey isn't running the show..... and signing Anderson and Gordon do not scream flexibility. Let's not forget that the cost for competent big men is going up.... again..... look at the Thunder throwing almost the full max at their center.
Yes... and the Suns are also trying hard to move B. Knight as well. While I would really like Tyson Chandler right now on the Rockets, there are some real red flags. His shot blocking is at an all time low, which effects his ability to defend in the post. His offensive involvement is even lower and he has had some difficulty getting up and finishing.
They're trying to dump both guys. We don't want Knight. Neither player has any trade value. Phoenix will have to send out assets with them to move them. That's where it gets interesting when you consider what else we could get coming in with Chandler.
Hopefully TJ Warren. I like that kid and he could fill in on the wing instead of scrubs like Brew and Dekker
Did Knight got another injury that I don't know? Because if not, there's no way he will need an asset attached to get traded. As much as I hate watching the guy play.
Interesting idea. Seems like a fit. In his prime, absolutely. However, I'm a little concerned that, at age 34, his ship has sailed.
Okafor is just about the worst possible fit for a D'Antoni/Harden team... a non athletic plodder that is a back to the basket player that doesn't defend or offer any resistance inside and has the bonus point of not passing quick.
It doesn't mean anything ....here is what holic wrote: Noel is another story. You will have to trust me on that UntiL hE is traded....or not. Celtics are a huge factor with Noel too. He's a Boston boy.
Tyson would be fine, suns probably don't want much for him. But Nerlens would be a perfect fit here. I'd give a 1st rounder + for him in a heartbeat. But probably not enough.
Would love josh back. Hell of a defender and a great rebounder for his size. Most importantly in D'Antonis system with his passing ability he has a place.
