I'd start Rivers. He's going to want to make up for that terrible game against the Broncos and Tennessee have been getting torn up by QB's recently.
What should I do about Jeremy Langford? My starters are Forte and Gordon and am stacked at WR but I desperately need depth at RB (12 team league). I have been trying to make some trades to beef up the spot but its hard. Is he worth keeping? How did he look last night? I couldn't catch the game.
But Winston is in a great matchup against Atlanta. He dominated them week 1. I don't have Rivers but I am starting Winston over Carr and Tyrod Taylor.
I'd bail on Chicago's backfield if I could. Don't know what to make of it. Supposedly the hot hand will get the snaps.
Who should I start at WR 1/2 and Flex this week? I'm last place and trying to reel back! 10 Team PPR TY Hilton vs GB Diggs vs Detroit Amari Cooper vs Den Golden Tate vs Minny
Question: Rob Kelley or Antone Smith in Standard? Potentially looking at ROS too. @DieHard Rocket: Adams. Seattle's offense is still sputtering and Devante got 30 targets over the last two weeks. @vstexas09: Hilton, Diggs, Cooper. If my memory serves me correctly, I'm not aware of Golden Tate doing anything worth noting this past couple of weeks.
Baldwin the better WR but Wilson hasn't been effective this year and dragging Baldwin down. Adams has been a hot receiver and the GB IND game will be a shootout with lots of passing (GB running game is almost non-existent).
TY and Diggs. TY didn't practice after having the hamstring issue but hoping its his usual Wednesday vet day off. Cooper and Tate should be avoided due to defenses.
Wow, tough call. Kelley looks good last week with a TD run. But WAS in on bye this week. Smith had success last year, has a big yards per carry number. Also knows the system and coach. That said, Barber might actually be the better back. They will likely do some level of RBBC. And Ingram may take the job back. But this week, you have to take Smith since Kelley is on bye. ROS, probably take Kelley.
No other possibilities? If I had to choose one, I'd choose the better WR... Cooper. He's had more big games.
Just found out Dwane Allen is back, so I need to drop Jack Doyle. Better to add Cameron Brate (I am starting Winston) vs ATL or Antonio Gates vs TEN?
Need trade advice. I have been hoarding RB's and trying to get RB's with great matchups down the stretch run. I have Lamar Miller, Jonathan Stewart, Theo Riddick, Jordan Howard and Latavius Murray. I have been eyeing Lesean McCoy as a buy low and have discussed a trade of Latavius Murray and Jordan Howard for McCoy. I am 6-2 and have the depth to field a good roster the next 2 weeks (sit Mccoy this week then he has a BYE next week). Howard is on BYE after destroying the Vikings. His ROS schedule looks pretty rough and I will be shocked if the Bears are an effective offense all of a sudden. Murray seems to be hit or miss. He put in a decent fantasy day last week but he got a couple of carries/points in OT. Still shows that he is too volatile IMO. He has a BYE Next week. His playoff schedule is pretty solid but that team is tough to trust due to shootouts. I am worried McCoy's hamstring is hurt more than let on or he may reinjure it but I feel I should take the chance. What do you guys think? IMO, it is (2) RB2's for (1) top 5 RB1.
With injuries to Ware (concussion), Hilton (hamstring), and Pryor (hamstring) on top of byes, I may need to add a WR or RB (or two) to field a full starting lineup. As a result, I am switching from Winston (Thursday night) to Rivers (Sunday) to stall for time, hoping Hilton and/or at least Pryor will play. If not, I will need to drop a player or two. If one, I have either Winston or a stashed Dion Lewis to drop. I'd prefer to hang onto Lewis (who would be grabbed ASAP) if possible... but would it be better to drop Lewis or Winston (who might slip through)?
Just received a trade offer... his Doug Baldwin for my Philip Rivers. I have Jameis Winston as my "backup" QB. If I accept I have a decent WR ready to play Sunday in case Hilton or Pryor can't play. Won 't need to drop Dion Lewis, won't need to cover River's bye week 11. Could package Baldwin or Fitzgerald with a RB to target AJ Green or a RB1. So, decent trade?
Baldwin has really taken a dip the past 5 or 6 weeks as the Seattle offense has gone downhill, but I think we'll see a rebound. Haven't been able to watch too much of them but I have to imagine that they will turn it around. That said, I'd lean toward accepting the deal assuming that there are decent QB streaming options available. Don't want to have to depend on Winston every week.
Thanks. Baldwin seems tied to Wilson performance. Last year he went crazy in the second half. Hearing reports that Wilson's knee is getting better (sure, probably blowing sunshine) and if so Baldwin could be a nice addition. It does allow me to package a WR and RB for a bigger trade (I'd like AJ Green or maybe Stewart). The only really bad matchup for Winston is SEA on week 12 but Rivers had HOU the same week. And I don't need to worry about bye week 11 as I did with Rivers. I'd rather have Rivers for stability but I can't play two QBs and Winston's schedule is actually a bit better than Rivers (SD, NO, DAL, NO). And... if Hilton can't play, I am covered.
I have Maclin, Corey Coleman, and Tim Hightower, plus Quincy Enunwa on waivers in a PPR league. Who do I start? I'm considering cutting Maclin or Hightower to start Enunwa this week. Is that crazy?
My QBs are Alex Smith and Big Ben. I am not going to have time to check my feed right before game time to see if Ben is playing. Plus its the Ravens. I'm stuck with trying to figure out Foles (Jax) vs Kapernick (New Orleans) vs Russell (Buffalo) vs McCown (Dallas). Any other year, Russell Wilson would be the easy choice but he is not having a good year so far. Foles and Colin look good because of their opponents. I think I'm just going to risk it with Ben.
