Maybe he can only perform when he drinks, and is a useless mess otherwise.

I remember everybody saying Lawson was sober the entire camp and for most of the season which is probably why he sucked. Now he got to drink again which gave him peace of mind which boosted his play back up but I guess he couldn't control himself which is why he missed the plane.

His handlers can only prevent him from drinking, not force him to play at a high level. I guess they need to find a balance in which he can drink to allow him to play well but not drink so much he goes wild. LOL of course all this are just my speculation I can't think of any other possible explanation for his ridiculous drop in performance last year on two separate teams after almost a decade of consistent production.

Its sad but definitely not surprising. These athletes have the same demons we all have. The only difference is they're on tv everyday and live inside a bubble for everybody to see. That alone has to be stressful. I actually feel sorry for Ty

Ty had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals in 36 minutes yesterday in King's blowout win over Suns

    Didn't shoot well though

It's weird, because when he first came into the league and he was coming off the bench, all he did was score.

Dude was a blur going to the rack and completely fearless whenever he shot the ball.

Whenever I see him shoot now it just seems like it is his last possible option.

    4 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal in the 1st.

    Leading the spurs 29-27.

The kings are lucky we drove his value down so much that they could get him cheap.

But I aint even mad though.

We're one step closer to finding the real cancer.

Maybe Houston had its glourious days when the Center and PF position were stacked with stars and capable big men.

Houston and star PGs or SGs? Not really a match made in heaven.

I'm surprised they haven't waived him yet.

This guy is pure trash. Hard to believe he was better than Curry at one point. How their career have changed.

At least he'll have company with Rickey Rubio from the same draft class for career that went wrong

He wasted his career on booze and partying. Whats even funnier is he played better with us then what he has produced Sac Town and Indiana in his last two stops despite the blatant nonsense regarding Harden cant play with him crap. Look at Gordon with Harden. They are both thriving together so that dribble has no legs.

Not sure about "wasted his career." He had one bad year, last year.

He was obviously good up until then, we traded a first rounder for him
