We give up so many because of our pace. James is so good in the pick and roll that I really think we should slow down when he's on the floor running point. Speed up when he's sitting. I'm not sure that's possible but if we can somehow do that I think we can flip the scoreboard.

Harden pushed the pace more (less walking the ball up) and we had our best offensive game

He's very difficult to stop when hes built up some momentum.

I'm like "ooh, ooh, ooh, hey coach. I gotta ask a question. Are we going to talk about how we're going to defend Tim Duncan on the post? Are we going to talk about Manu Ginobili in pick and roll? Keeping Tony Parker out of the paint?"

He looked at me in front of the entire team and coaching staff and said: "We're not worried about what they do. If we play to the best of our abilities, and do what we're supposed to do, there is no way they can beat us. We don't mind if Tim goes off. If Tim goes off, that means everybody else is quiet."

    _____

He's the same guy coaching in Phoenix, when they acquired Jim Jackson, Jackson had a turnover. Jackson raced down to foul the guy who stole the ball from him. D'Antoni summoned him over, "Come here, come here," and said "We don't do that here. We let him score, it keeps the pace up."

    :D

I don't get how some of you are complaining about this game. We litterly were down 1 point with 1:26 left in the game. Lebron kyrie and jr hit some clutch threes. Nothing more notthing less.

There the champs and either the best or second best team in the league playing at home and we gave them their toughest test yet.

Are teams not as good as theirs it's not that hard to comprehend, they have 2 superstar and Kevin love who's a Allstar level player with a gang of shooters. If we rebound the ball just a little better we win this game.

Offensively we were great. Low TOs made 17 threes on 38% shooting got a lot of point in the paint. You have to take your hats off to the Cavs any other team would have lost tonight. They were barley winning with a minute left and shot 13/15 for the quarter like we played really really well.

Just relax this team is going to be just fine. If we play like this every night we will win 50+ games. Most teams bedside the Warriors can't hit 16/32 threes. If the Cavs shoot a still really good 12/32 from three guess why rockets win by 4.

    We're fine.

What was with LeBron taking down Harden over the back and getting a no-call?
Clearly should have been a foul

Just listening to people on NBATV talk about Harden's 41pt 15ast 7reb game like it's a common throwaway performance is maddening.

We let people like Channing Frye and Mike Dunleavy make a difference. If they didnt show up...the Cavs wouldve been blown out at home.

The Rockets have to address DEFENSIVE rebounding and make that a huge priority. And finally, I think it is time to move on from the Corey Brewer experiment...Dekker should really get all of his minutes... I personally believe that if the Rockets played Dekker along side Harden, Gordon, Nene and Ariza...they wouldve won this game.

Finally...and last point to make. The Rockets really need help on the front line. They really need to consider moving on from either Ariza...would be awesome to get Nerlens Noel, but it seems the Phili have a much higher rate for his services...

This was a very fun game to watch... unfortunate that we wasted a great game by the Beard.

I like the Rockets as long as Harden is playing and I also like MDA making as good as an effort as possible to control his minutes. That said the backup point guard position and overall bench may need a veteran player or two to steady the ship when James is not playing. This game just made the already known more obvious, but with those additions we really can play with most of the teams in the NBA.

We lost to the NBA Champs when our odds of winning were really low. #Mind-blown

Do yall really think we are competing for the Championship this year?? Be happy it was competitive. It is just entertainment after all. These guys don't write laws that affect your life and well-being or your children's future. If the Rockets win you don't get a pay check or free groceries or lowered taxes. If they DO win a championship, guess who wins. They win. Your name is not written along side theirs in history books. You don't get a championship ring. You don't get a bonus check. You don't get a free hat! You get to pay for a hat that says these guys won a championship. The thought that they are YOUR team is strictly in your head. As everyone here knows, and is maddened by, is the fact that they have 0 power of what happens with the team. This is Les' team. Period. You watch HIS team play. Technically, they should be called the Houston Les'. That's actually who we are cheering for. If he decided to take this team to Seattle, once he gets approval by the league, he would be gone and you have no say. This is entertainment. Enjoy it or turn it off. You have that power.

I cannot figure out what's most concerning after defense. The bench, or rebounds.

Soooooo since you're saying that I have no stake in the team, YOU are gonna give me back my tax dollars that went towards the stadium, so you can be correct on an online message board. Right?

Hung tough. A few fts not missed at the end, a few turnovers prevented, and it's our game.

The only thing is the 50 wins won't guarantee anything other than job security for MDA that he won't get fired in soon time.

Don't get how some people are disappointed. This is only the 4th game of the season and the game was pretty close against the champs.
