I'm just glad we have a watchable team again. Last season was pure agony to watch. The difference in chemistry is really visible.

Trade who ? Aint no one gonna give us **** for either brew or Ennis . If we could get a mid second rounder for either player I'd jump on it . But maybe we need to hold on to Ennis given how injury prone bev and Gordon have been

I thought the defense was pretty good too. You just have Killers in this game.

I honestly can't see how unless you never watched the games. There is no underachieving when you have had garbage under center.

I truly believe lockdown defending 3's who shoot the 3 above average are easier to get than scoring 4's. It's a matter of scarcity.

Yep I mean they had there mental breakdown but Cleveland scored what was it 8 fast break points alone in the 4th during that TO stretch? They are the champs for a reason

Definitely, if we can play most games like today we will win more games than not and we will be very enjoyable to watch. our defense however....

The most bearable loss in many years of Rockets basketball. Can't wait to get Bev back and maybe sign Dmo so we can beef the bench up a bit.

Meh, not for moral victory talk. Houston has played the Cavs well over the years and had a good chance to win tonight.

Well played but they are the champs on their home court.

Oh well, on to the next.

They need Beverley back. The minutes without Harden were bad tonight. Real bad.

I love the way Harden goes beast mode against LBJ usually trying to show he is the real King James.

That is one heck of a statline. I don't think you will see too many better statlines esp with the assists and turnovers.

Cleveland is loaded. I can see them repeating.

the rebounding is a huge problem. capela and anderson each with only 4 apiece. nene with 5. morey has put together a very flawed roster this offseason.

I thought we played prettty well. Missed a few 3s and free throws. Turnovers down the stretch hurt too.... but I'm not upset with the loss.

41 points on 20 shots. Meanwhile Russ has 50 on 40. Love Russ, but let's see how the media narrative differs with their 2 statlines.

Best game so far, unfortunately the Cavs hit the three pretty well. At the end of the day, they are the Champions with a set team and a bunch of quality veterans. The Rockets still need to find themselves, but at least the core with Harden, Anderson, Gordon, Ariza, Capela and Nene looks solid right now. Add Beverley and hopefully Motiejunas to that while try to develop Dekker and McDaniels into more consistency and I think we're fine until February.

If it wasn't for 3 TOs the resulted in 8(?) points and a broken trap and scramble to get Smith a Cavs 3, I think the Rockets are in OT.

I'm encouraged, Rockets need to win tomorrow to keep this good feelings.

Exactly. We were in this game and then they suddenly hit 3 threes, it was over at that point. That team is stacked, defense could be better sure, always could be better...but there was effort there (there was never effort last season) shots were covered, honestly I think they beat most teams with how they played tonight.
