OBrien acts so dumb in interviews... "Thoughts on Newton's two torn tendons in his knees?" "Huh? What are you talking about? Where do you even come up with this nonsense, we havent even run tests on him yet." Meanwhile, two torn tendons.
He said that? Why would he think we wouldn't believe they haven't run tests on someone carted off the field? He was probably just being a wise guy.
I'm starting to think BOB's crazy press conferences are just a distraction so us and the media talk about that and not players. He's protecting his players by acting crazy. Kinda smart.
I thought that was a fumble when it happened, looks like Hop made some "football moves" before the ball popped out. Whew...
But they haven't lost to a bad team. The Steelers lost to the dolphins. The Broncos lost to the chargers and I know it was without Brady but the Patriots lost to the Bills. All three Texans losses are to division leaders.
How would you like to be Jamie Collins? Going from the best team in the league to the worst team in the league. Yikes!
In the offseason he'll be fine. The rest of the season is going to be miserable for him. Especially if the Patriots win a ring this year.
I'll take that if the teams they are supposed to beat include all of AFC South, San Diego, and two of Oakland, Green Bay or Cincinnati. That's 11 wins.
They don't even need that much. They can get to 11 wins by beating the AFC South (4 games) + San Diego at home, along with one of those final 3 you mentioned (and at this rate, they'll be favored against Cincy at home.. and nobody knows what's going to happen in Mexico City). My guess is they'll go 10-6... probably because they won't have much to play for @ Tennessee on the final week of the season (doubtful they're finishing with a better overall record than the AFC West champion).
Belicheck knew he wouldn't pay Collins when free agency came up I wish would've traded him before they played us on TNF
Looks like the Don Jones signing was worth it based on special teams play alone thus far. The guy has made a number of plays in return coverage and that on-sides kick recovery was big.
