I think you guys are forgetting this team is a one-man show it has been for a while now. Ever since Portland knocked us out of the first round it's been James Harden carrying the team. I really don't understand how you guys can blame him win or lose.

If Harden had even an ounce of support they could run a play. But they don't. Gordon, Anderson, Ariza, all blow.

James is to cool out there. Very ugly win, but still a win. Morey needs to make some trades. Not sure about the Ryan Anderson fit we may need to get rid of that contract sooner rather than later. Team is still very selfish but it's 3 games in. James can't continue to play hero ball, Got to trust your team, you have shot makers around now. Looks to much like playground ball right now.

Why was Ryan not involved at all in the last 3 min?

You could argue, this Sideline Out of Bounds play won the game...to end the first half

I think it was too obvious a foul. It actually looked like a "take foul" by Matthews because he knew he was beat. He yanked Harden's shooting arm down or else Harden had the lay up.

Legit, that's about the poorest game I've seen Harden play. Statistically he may have had worse games but he was garbage tonight. Straight garbage. Chucking, turning the ball over for no reason, forcing when it's not there, not passing the ball AGAIN in the fourth. What the hell. It's pretty clear he's not the answer at pg. He's played well next to Gordon, so we know he can be himself next to an attacking guard. I'd look to make a trade for Bledsoe or Knight or someone of that calibre so we can have someone cool things down when he loses his mind. So frustrating, he hasn't learned anything.

Anyway I expect a beatdown by the Cavs on us if we continue to play at this lowly level.

Hard to beat a team twice in 2 days in the NBA.

    I'll take it.

The Mavs were flopping out there and sold some calls to the refs but this game still shouldn't have been close. A win is a win but the Rox appear to have a ways to go in some areas.

Good win, that was close. Why does Harden always seem to revert back to his bad habits of 1v1 play during 4th quarters?

He's lucky it was just the final 3 minutes instead of the entire 4th Q. ;)

Also does anyone know why Harden starts out the season shooting like 30% from the field?? I mean the past 3 seasons, he has put up some really ugly shooting percentages in the first 10 or so games.

    Ariza is 6'8 right?
Well tell me how on GODS green earth do you let a 5'9 JJB guard you?
He should be ashamed of himself.

And you got idiots on here saying that they don't want Rudy Gay.
Rudy would have destroyed JJB in the post.

Lol Harden did totally get away with that jersey grab and push.... I don't know if Matthew's would've played it very differently, but wtvr. F the Mavs. They did some dirty, floppy crap tonight and I do not feel bad for them. I'm not proud of the win really, but screw Matthews, Barea, Barnes, Bogut etc.
