Ok. coz I got no feelings about this. At all. Could be any mediocre shooting PF. Mauri will pull another Josh Smith-esque trade by the deadline.
His finishing in the paint is just absolutely aweful! I never expected a legit nba big man can be this bad.
Please consider that you're completely incorrect in your assumptions about players/transactions/Ears I've heard about, whether that be in this instance or otherwise. It's as if you also know what I'm eating for breakfast as well! LOL,c'mon man.... Obviously, Boogie isn't on the table for anyone right now. It's too early, and he's a player you don't get rid of until you absolutely must, or the offer is amazing. He isn't close to his peak yet. Rudy is commonplace discussion because of his comments about leaving SAC. He isn't who I was discussing either. In fact, Sactown is attempting to put together a decent season this year before blowing it all up. Heck, the Rubio talk was always a whimper, despite the countless mentions of him being our "target." Your PG in a SG's body is Mr. Harden for now. That's by design. 2 games in...we need to relax a bit.
Well honestly the first game I was horrified by his David Lee-esque defense, the 2nd game his D was better but got owned by Barnes the entire game, couldn't hit a decent shot with Barnes up in his grill and got the ball stolen or deflected numerous times. To me that's gonna be troubling in the playoffs because almost every team has an SF capable of playing small ball PF, if he can be negated by people like that we just paid 20M for nothing. Stretch PFs apart from Dirk have a nasty habit of being crap in the playoffs because they tend to be undersized and don't play good D, hopefully Anderson can raise his game up because he's been a disappointment so far IMHO. He's like bench material making 20M a year right now his performance is on par with Dekker's.
Ryan's never been the type of guy to pound the boards? That worries me. I know yall said he was a defensive liability. But if also doesnt play in the paint and make rebounds a priority, what do you want to do on that end?? We need 2 big guys down low boxing out and gettin rebounds. Esp if your other guy is Capela who is soft and has hands that don't grip. A 6'10" power forward that doesn't want to be physical and rebound sounds like an anomaly. And we paying him how much.... shoot
stretch 4 in mda's genius offense - 25min, 5pts, 1 three. thats one helluva player right there. i bet those 5pts are worth 10x anyone else's 5pts who's not an all star. only 20m for 4 years? no to or po? lock that mofo up murray, lock that mofo up. should've gave him a 5th year po worth 30m. he wont turn that down. the numbers are clear - RYAN ANDERSON SUCKS ****! trade him for a top 59 protected '17 2nd round pick. and of course, a lifetime supply of donuts for me since i had to put with these two crappy games. do it morlay. i'll pass one or two donuts your way, if kj gets in the rotation.
He's playing like someone who's afraid of getting injured again. I think he feels pressure based on the contract he was given, to stay healthy and contribute; however, it's making him play less aggressive and more timid.
Cod, I watched the Sacramento - Minnesota game last night. It made me think that Sacramento will, indeed, see where they can go with this new coach before they go into fire sale mode. They DO have too many bigs, many not getting much clock (Koufos, Cauley-Stein). I thought maybe once you elliptically referenced Labissiere, but who knows. 'Holic mentions he thinks you were referencing Blake Griffin, and he did seem the only redhead we'd want, but I imagine if the Clippers wanted to make that change, we'd have to come up with something uber-sexy for them. In any case, Blake seems more of a clear-the-cap-space, take-a-shot-in-the-offseason kind of player.
Ryan Anderson is not going to become a better player just because he makes more money. Please get over it guys. This is who the guy is. He will have nights like this early season, mid season, late season, playoffs in all 4 years of his contract. Other nights he will shoot lights out. He'll be an average rebounder and poor defender. His presence on the floor is creating space for Harden. When he's scoring, it's taking pressure off Harden. He moves without the ball. He's decent at setting picks. He becomes hilariously aggressive as a scorer when Harden is not on the floor. That's what he's here for. He has started out poorly on a new team with a new coach and new system. Big whoop.
He's made 37.7% of over 2,000 3pters. I think he'll be fine. Also, it will take a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG drought for players and coaches to forget what he's capable of. He's always going to give us spacing.
Ryan Anderson is off to a slow start as he's shooting just 40 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three-point range. Anderson was benched for the entire fourth quarter in Friday's victory over the Mavericks for K.J. McDaniels. Mike D'Antoni isn't worried about Anderson. "I think it's also a product of what James (Harden) is going to produce for him," D'Antoni said. "I told Trevor (Ariza) and Ryan, sometimes it's the luck of the draw. Your just standing in the right place and James finds you and the other night he found Trevor (27 points)
Didn't look one dimensional tonight... Fantastic performance without 1 made three. I think he has figured out how to beat up pressure defense on the perimeter. (POUND THE GLASS)
He played very well tonight . He was awful those first two games ; great rebound game for him tonight . He did a much better job on Barnes and used his size to his advantage .
I agree, and at least he tries on defense and on the boards. He just isn't athletic. Overall, I think he knows the game well and has a good presence on the floor even when he's off. When he's on, his shooting can help Harden take any game over.
