His back injuries were the death of him.

Having experienced some back issues before they are not fun to deal with.

He didn't like playing with Harden? Just like before that he didn't like playing with Kobe and left LA..

Last year he averaged 8.5 FGA in 32.1 mpg.

The year before it was 10.3 FGA in 29.8 mpg.

And before that 11.3 FGA in 33.7 mpg.

How many attempts do you want him to have? He could have had even more attempts if he simply ran PnR with Harden.

Atlanta is literally ignoring him on offense. Schröder (right now) has no Idea how to run the PnR and Atlanta doesn't post up. Most of his points have been garbage points off rebounds.

He didnt care about touches when it wasn't a contract year..

He cared last yr because he'd get more money if he scored more.. It's not rocket science. That's the only explanation as to why he complained but then still went with ATL. It was about money.. Atlanta gave him a lower offer, he asked for more, Atlanta agreed and likely lost horford because of it. With the money secured, Dwight isn't going to complain now.

@aelliott can Fact Check that one...he did it about 10 times last year.

He'll point you to nba.com's Stats for Post Touches and Paint Touches....Then you sort by Most.

I dont know what the right number is but I dobt see why he had the lowest fga for his rockets career. That didn't make much sense

Because he couldnt score in the post anymore. The first year he got it done enough..the second year, towards the end he started to show issues, incompetence in making moves to the post, yet they still tried to keep him involved..but last year he continued with those issues and they started to phase him out. It makes sense.

Probably because he was an inefficient scorer

Not bad. But I wonder how much lower it'd be if he got more post up opportunities.

I'm not really arguing that he's a great offensive player or anything. I'm just saying I think the lowest fga of his career is why he left

Yeah probably would be lower but it wasn't his first two years here. I guess we'll see how he does in Atlanta

Wish we had a coach like Budenholzer. He built a system.

Howard had a pretty huge 2 point game today.

7 boards today, and foul trouble, in a win. Chris Humpy was their leading interior presence, if that helps put things in perspective.
