WHAT?! He plays the worst defense on the team. His man blows by him every time. He does appear to be able to control the tempo, playmake and is young. However, he should be learning in the D-League not in real time.

I put Lance Stephenson on there because he's a guy that can make plays. 15/8/6 off the bench today, cheap as chips. If he becomes a problem simply cut him?

Jennings signed a one year deal at $5 million. So I'm not sure what you consider ridiculous but I'd much rather have paid a similar amount for any one of those guys above (minus George Hill who was acquired via trade). D.J. Augustin and C.J. Watson are both solid guards who are fighting for minutes on the bench in Orlando too... simply unacceptable to have Ennis running the show (if that's what you'd call it) when Harden sits.

Why don't you check if your facts are right before you complain about me complaining?

Ennis looked ok, when the clock was winding down he knew it was time to try and make something happen problem is hes looking to pass and everyone knows it. Needs to develop a pull up or a floater quick. Should only play the 12 minutes Harden sits, no more.

we don't need him to shoot if he can create points for others with good drives and passes. he has never had this kind of responsibility before to be the first back up point guard off the bench. Those guys you wrote down are experienced now most can hit a good shot if they see it.................Now after years of experience(except Brandon Jennings)

Really he looks lost out there. He can dribble a little, that's about it. Can't drive and finish, barely made a couple of decent lucky passes, can't shoot from anywhere on the court, and not smart about where to take the ball because most of the time when he was running the offense, he ran it away from Gordon who was the best player on the court; and therefore is an offensive liability. And as many have already said, consistently gets beat by whomever he is defending and doesn't seem to know where to be on rotations. Just looks like a chicken with his head cut off out there. Brown should be playing over him.

I bet Morey is forcing MDA to play him so Morey can try to package him in a trade to not make giving up Beasley for nothing look so bad on him.

Yes, we do need him to shoot, as well as set up others. If he isn't a threat, defense won't treat him like one. This will clog up the lane, making pick and roll action exceptionally difficult. He couldn't stay in front of a turnstile if he tried. This team is not deep, when Beverley returns (lol) and Gordon moves back to the bench it won't be as big of an issue but our bench lacks serious scoring punch.

The bold part sums up my exact point: why the hell do we have him? He's inexperienced, he is an absolutely putrid defender, he's shaky and can't shoot. It doesn't seem the concept of free agency has dawned on some of you. We could have literally picked up an experienced guard who can make the right decision and create his own shot, FREE AGENCY. Instead - Morey refused to sign any guard depth outside of Gordon, then decided to trade away a moderately decent piece for a scrub. Does this make sense to you? It sure as hell doesn't make sense to me?

No one is saying Beasley was the GOAT, but watching the bench try to hold a lead is like drawing blood from a stone. Would have been nice to at least have someone who could knock down a shot. People label him a chucker (which he is) but isn't that what Anderson is when he's cold?

If Morey made a trade for a half decent back up then no one would be complaining. Refusing to sign any guards (some who got good value contracts), then trading away a guy who could actually score, for a player who cannot defend, cannot shoot and cannot efficiently run an offense or finish at the rim is not acceptable. And it is ridiculous that Morey fails at achieving such a simple objective. Guess what? We could have drafted Demetrius Jackson in this year's draft, and I can guarantee you he'd be providing the same output as Ennis (if not more), but we decide to draft two 'project bigs' and trade away a half decent player for a dud.

    Classic Morey.

Beasley ended up being a negative on the team, yes he had big games but the team was much worse with him on the court than off it and the stats back that up. The offence suffered. How do you know Morey didn't try to sign other guards ?

Ennis will be fine, averaging 4 assists a game in 13 minutes isn't a bad start in the first two games

even when we are winning, it seems you can't please everyone

I strongly disagree about his defense, and we can just leave it at that.

Last night our best defensive lineup was Ennis-Gordon-KJ-Ariza-Clint, before James and Nene came in. Ennis was a big part of that. Dude moves very well laterally and makes some nice rotations on switches out there. His footwork on defense and where he picks up the ball handler shows an incredibly high level of basketball acumen.

I really think Dirk helps US at this point. I would gladly have him out there so they can't matchup with us.

Watching Wes Matthews getting frustrated and exasperated guarding Harden is the funnest thing
