My first post on this deal - still feel the same.

We haven't done a good job getting him open that's true. But man is he terrible defensively... so if he's not scoring he's hurting us every possession

Could it be that all the focus on him let Ariza get hot?

What really caught my attention is Anderson's tunnel vision, he just never looks for the pass and misses really easy assists. Hope he figures it out.

Not trying to be negative but seeing as he is an 8 year veteran that seems unlikely. He is who he is at this point.

I think the only reason he sat is because there was no way he could guard their small ball lineup. Barnes abused him. Since He has no low post game he couldn't give it back to Barnes. Good job on the coach realizing he was hurting the team more than helping and seeing the bench. Ryno is a role player...an expensive one...but he'll help us out some this year I think.

Probably. But I'm hoping once he gets more acclimated he will make better decisions. I feel he's trying to do too much on some possesions.

Anderson is a streaky shooter, once he will get hot, he can shatter the scoreboard, but as expected, before he will reach that point, he will get shattered on every single defensive procession.

I'm surprised anyone thought Ryno > Gordon

Eric has been more competent defensively his entire career and as good a shooter.

Capturing this for posterity as I have noticed the No votes rising quite a bit lately.

easily the slowest starting PF in the league, on both ends of the ball. he's such a huge liability guarding his man in the paint or switching out on the perimeter, i don't see how we can leave him on the court in crunch time. what a colossal waste of cap space.

When he put up 17 in the 3rd Q of that preseason game, I was pretty happy with him. Maybe MDA will run a few plays designed to collapse the D and kick out to Anderson. Optimize his skill set, in other words. Same plays would work for Wiltjer.

I was expecting him to sit in the corner and hit open 3s. I haven't seen those corner 3's for him yet....which is very puzzling.

My "no" vote is looking pretty good right about now lol. He will have better games though. Is he worth 20 mil? No, but I think he will play better.

So far, he can't play much worse. That pre-season hot hand has cooled off considerably. Hopefully he'll get it going again, quick.

The first three teams, yeah, I can imagine something there. I wonder if you couldn't help but add the fourth. Hope springs eternal. ;)

    ,

Please be the GM of a team in the western conference that isn't the rockets. I'd vote for you. + I'm down to trade D-Mo for your whole roster.
