Coach shows some fire and he's a 'fake tough guy'?
Good to see a coach get upset and take it out on some players instead of just 'clap clap'

 

A win over the Mavs is always a good win.

I couldn't remember when the last time Ariza had a good game like this so I'm not surprised it was January.... That's the sad part. When will we see it again?

 

Games like this is why I think Paul George is the missing link to this team becoming a real contender. He would play like Ariza played tonight but even better on both sides of the ball.

Going back to last year it seems when we won Ariza had 18+ points.

 

I was streaming NBA league pass on my phone while waiting in the airport at Taiwan to fly to Shanghai and gathered a crowd of 20 plus people around me to cheer.

I am so forking happy that we won, so that I can arrive my destination safely.

 

Not so sure it's fake, he's Italian and they are known to get fiery at times.

 

I agree, he did fine. 3 assists, no turnovers, played about like a backup pg should. I guess he's just the guy everyone loves to hate this year for whatever reason.

 

Nice to have a coach that will scream at players for standing around aimlessly on the offense. What I kept saying with McHale. If you have a offense wouldn't you be angry if your players were constantly not running it? It was nice to see a coach that takes pride in his offense enough so that he believes it'll work if his players just follow it.

Also nice to have a coach when you are up 12, Mavs hit a big 3 to bring it back to 9...and the coach calls a TO. That's nice.

 

I'm pretty sure adding any top 10 guys would make this team a contender. Top 5 + top 10 + quality role players should be enough to contend any time.

 

The defense was light years better than last. Nice to see this team actually adjust.

 

he is a young back up point guard, what do you expect from him ? 20 and 10 every night off the bench........

some people just have no patience and yes he is better than Prigioni who is very slow and ran in to traffic in his old age

I expected Norris Cole, Jerryd Bayless, Ramon Sessions, Brandon Jennings, George Hill or Mario Chalmers. Not a young kid who can't attack the rim, dribble with confidence nor shoot.

Where did I say I expected to? We could have signed the majority of those guys above without giving up Beasley. Lance Stephenson - $peanuts.

 

Lance Stephenson is a cancer and what we needed is a backup pg not sure what he has to do with your list. Brandon Jennings signed a ridiculous contract with NYC you want us to pay him that money instead?

Those guys you mentioned are under contract by their respective teams how exactly are we going to sign them? Why don't you check which guys are available first before you complain?
