Daryl had a pile of ass and turned into two top players WITHOUT losing. He essentially turned Rafer Alston and a mid first round pick into James Harden.

Let's give him some time post Dwight to get some more talent before we throw him to the wolves.

D'Antoni is going to drive up value for all of our players, hopefully. It's been a while since Daryl had decent trade chips, but he should have some in the next few weeks.

I hope you're right, in fact i'm a big fan of Morey so i trust him to make some moves in the future, the fear i have is that he wanted JVG and Silas/Hollins, Le$ decided for MDA, and i see the signing of Ryan as a clear move dictated by the choice of the coach more than anything else...

Please notice we are most effective when Ryan sat tonight, that will be an ongoing theme this year I think, until he comes off the bench.

I didn't understand the Ryan Andersen obsession by the front office. The guy never impressed me. So he can hit 3's and is tall! What else does he do. He's the worst defensive player in the league.

This doesn't look like a good fit right now.

I would give it one more game in Dallas before you guys jump to conclusions. Let's see If they gameplan for Ryno the way they did tonight.

That said, Motiejunas starting with Ryno off the bench would be nasty.

D'Antoni needs to do a better job getting some actions going for him. He is too good of a shooter.

No, but the problem for Anderson is he is easy to guard and shut down, just put a decent athlete on him and he is dead he doesn't move enough off the ball to get himself open.

It is early but he is looking like maybe one of the biggest busts ever in Rockets signing 20m a year for 4 years.....and he is not going to get better.

    You're better than that, J.R.

Anyway, if we're going to judge on a 2 game sample, Eric Gordon is worth twice his salary.

Regarding Ryan Anderson, Morey just tweeted:

Regrets, I had a few, but a few too many, I plan, I charted the course...-

Morey paid him off of the games that he used to have against us where he couldn't miss.

It is not low, if he can't contribute more than a modern Matt Bullard than we have paid him about 4 times what his value is....and that is a MAJOR mistake.

He wasn't a starter last year, he is not good at rebounding, boxing out, passing, dribbling, he is a good shooter, but he is too slow to get his own - I am sorry, could be wrong, but man, I think the team looks WAY better without him...and teams know he can shoot, and can't blow by the defenders so they just stay in medium contact and he has a tough time....

D'Antoni's offense is about fluid off the ball movement - look at how KJ looks, he is moving off the ball, Anderson is not all that effective moving, everyone KNOWS he is setting up for a 3pt shot, so they don't honor the drive, if he starts driving some it will help, but not sure he has ever done that....

Time will tell, but 20m a year is looking like a big bag of knuckles.

Funny, Brewer was traded for & got his contract off the 51 point game he had against Houston. ;)

Worst contract in Rockets history is Corey Brewer, makes Matt Maloney's deal look like a great bargain.

    Let's hope Anderson's doesn't eclipse them both.
