Never had a problem with it I have a lot of Irish flags/paraphernalia around (Im Irish and I also lived there for 5 months).

No, my parents were born in America.

 

No probs here with flags celebrating other countries, sexual preference, sports teams, etc... but if I see someone with a confederate flag on their car I do automatically assume they have a low IQ, shitty job, and that I'm all around better than them. Sorry, Cletus.

 

So many unhappy idiots today blame foreigners for today's problem. Racism never ends, so you remove one race then that hate will transfer to the next race. It doesn't stop until it reaches gender and physical features (height, eye color, hair).

Another countries flag? Why would you fly the flag of another country? Are you a citizen of another country? Are you ashamed to be an American? If so, why are you here.

I am not going to say anything to someone (especially a woman) because they have the flag of another nation hanging in their vehicle or their home, but I don't like it generally. When I have spent extended time in Ireland for business, I did not go around strutting an American flag, and if I had, it wouldn't have been appreciated. I find it disrespectful. Having said that.... there are many other bigger worries.

A little offended by the confederate flag, which is sported heavily around Texas, but it's not like I would ever say anything to the person.

 

I see where you're coming from, but USA is a very diverse country, especially in large cities. So it's a bit different than a small country like Ireland which is nearly 90% white Irish people.
