I always have a secondary team for every league that I root for. I've been rooting for the lakers, patriots, and red sox for about a decade when they aren't playing the home team.
According to Football Outsiders; Detroit has the worst defense in the league. At least some signs of optimism Brock does well? http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef
This. I usually tell my wife I will be unavailable between 12 and 3 on Sundays, but lately I've been adding the caveat "it might be more like 12 and 1:30 depending on how the first half goes." I turned off the TV after the 1st quarter during the vikings game and said "let's go do something!"
Didn't Indy have a bad defense? Oh yeah... Anyways, keys to the game: we gotta coach better than the other team we gotta execute better than the other team we gotta run better routes than the other team we have to block better than the other team we have to tackle better than the other team and lastly we have to score more points than the other team If the Texans do this, they can win!
I have sideline teams that occasionally I watch when our guys are out of it Because of some of my family members I find myself watching a lot of cowboys football and I gotta say win or loss its always entertainment
Damn, not the best of news. While Blue can take on more of the load... Miller is so much better than Blue.
They had the opportunity to draft Booker; but went with Ervin instead smh I would much rather have had Miller/Booker/Hunt
I hear ya. I'm thinking about opening up that time frame with my fiancé. I feel bad if the time block only makes me grumpy....and takes away time I could be spending with her. Probably hit up the museum district Sunday.
That's a pretty big assumption. You're basically saying that if Savage would've played last year, he would've been so good that the Texans wouldn't still have been in the market for a starting QB. I'm all for Savage getting a start at this point but in all likelihood, he's not going to do anything that's going to decrease our need for a franchise QB.
The Lions have given up two passing touchdowns in every game this season. It's the total opposite of the "unstoppable force meets an immovable object" quote.
I think the thing is, at least we would have known. Chances are, he would have been average and probably no better than Hoyer, but at least there would have been a chance that we wouldn't have had to go all in on an unproven guy. I just find irony in the whole thing. You've got an unproven guy on your bench that you shut down and refuse to play for no reason, yet you spend 36 million on another, slightly less unproven guy. They must see him at practice and not believe in him, is all I can surmise.
This is gonna be an easy win for the Texans. Only because Detroit is SO BAD! Detroit is so bad that even Brickweiller will look good and give everyone false hope. We might even catch a glimpse of Hopkins back among the elite receivers.
So when does O'B take on the special teams and defensive coordinator duties? What in the hell does Godsey do and why is he still with the team?
