    They were dead last in the league in covering the spread.

    I was bummed last night for having any sort of optimism and then we saw the same ****. Porous defense with barely any adjustments. Harden continuing to be pretty clueless about situational defense (close out, hands up with clock winding down) and us playing iso ball w Harden down the stretch.

    Oh and our defensive rebounding is much worse than last year with Dwight out of the mix.

    Long story short, back to low expectations.

    Have to play better defense and rebound. Offense needs to stay consistent, Harden went a little hero ball towards the end of the game and it didn't pan out.

    Expectations are low for all Houston teams.

    I had hoop in the Coogs and they became a big disappointment.

    Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson had the game of their lives and we were still within striking distance at the end. Of course it was fluky. Plus that was the first game with the new coach and players, figuring out how to close is something that must be developed between coach and players

    After our first game, I'm not as confident with a win tonight!!

    We need to play a good second half with Harden still passing to teammates and not go with hero ball.
