I just want a 2.5 to 1 Assist to turnover ratio.

I know we don't get to play the Lakers every night but if the over/under is 10, I'm going over. Wow!

I am seriously laughing my ass off over here at people who thought we needed to take the ball out of Harden's hands and put it into the hands of a "true point guard"

James Harden is a better passer than Brock Osweiler

I thought Pringles was offensive mastermind, but for some reason last 3 minutes of the 4th our every possession has 0 ball movement. Only isolation, contested jumpers. In other words nothing changed since Bickerstaff.

It was most frustrating when Anderson and Ariza went ISO mode. The only people who should ever ISO are Harden and Gordon.

Still too many turnovers, far too many.

The entire team was gassed and Harden got in foul trouble which disrupted his rhythm. MDA needs to get the right players out there also. Capela and KJ deserved more playing time.

Ryan Anderson should be smacked every time he attempts more 2pt shots than 3pt shots in a game, which happened last night.

I would consider starting KJ over Gordon. The current starting lineup is horrendous on defense.

Wish there would exist a video showing JH passing to himself. Just for you.

What's your problem? Is it not true? I'm not disputing his play making ability but the turn overs are seriously troubling, and it's getting worse. Don't pull out the analytics saying he doesn't turn it over much more than westbrook or whatever. He needs to get it together and value every possession.

All of last year, we heard this stupid ass narrative about assist to turnover ratio, blah blah blah. He just crushed that, and then we shift the goal posts to something new.

He has an offensive rating of 127
He has an offensive +/- of +14.4

He just obliterated the Lakers offensively. Turnovers are a byproduct of that. You are asking for something that is simply not possible.

Not once did I bring up assist to turnover ratio. His career assist to turnover ratio is not too bad, but.

Asking for 3-4 turnovers a game is not possible? Get real man. He's averaging 6.2 turnovers a game over his last five games, he's a great passer and he is doing a lot right but his current turnover rate is simply not good enough. If you seriously think that's an acceptable number you are delusional. I'm sure he will average over 10 assists a game but he's going to turn it over 5-6 times a game. Chris Paul, Nash, Rondo and others could set the table that many times without feeding the other team.

He also has a habit of turning it over in crunch moments, such as today where he went 1 v 1 down the stretch and coughed it up trying to attack the rim. The sooner we get more guys in who can handle the ball and make plays the better.

    Correct, its not possible.

Chris Paul, Nash, Rondo never, EVER, carried the scoring role that Harden is. And their turnovers would be much much higher if they had to score as much as Harden does.

You are basically asking Harden to be Nash / Paul caliber facilitator, and a Jordan esque level scorer, all wrapped into one player. Sorry, but that is completely unreasonable.

The Rockets had 14 turnovers last night, Harden had 7 of them. Outside of that, Capella had 1, Gordon had 1, Nene 1 and Ennis 4.

If you actually think turnovers are some big problem, you should be looking at Ennis.

No. I'm not. Which is why I have repeatedly said we need more guys who can lessen the load, handle the ball and make something happen.

Okay, so you are fine with something like this, where Harden cuts down on his turnovers.

    Harden
    26 points, 10 assists, 4 turnovers

    2nd ball handler
    8 points, 7 assists, 3 turnovers
