We look awful. Defense somehow worse than last year, D'Antoni getting outcoached by a rookie head coach in his first game, Anderson one of the worst defenders I've ever seen, no rim protection whatsoever, Harden not even really looking for his shot all that much until it was too late.

Yea, my expectations are lowering further. Still can't believed we hired MDA. Makes no sense.

I want to know what Maury tweeted about this game? Did he spin it into a positive saying something delusional?

what a terrible excuse. 1st game of the season the legs should be fresh more than anything.

Maury was busy pigging out at Dennys.

"Tyler Ennis was extremely efficient. Good times ahead with him running the second unit."

Randle can't defend noone and Mozgov is an average C. Almost every single team in the league has a better frontcourt rotation than that.
teams with way better FC : NY, PHI, CHI, CLE, DET, IND, MIL, ATL. MIA, ORL, DEN, MIN, UTAH, OKC, LAC, SAC, MEM, SA
teams with better FC with some depth issues: BOS, TOR, CHA, WAS, GSW etc etc

Nevermind. The question should be WHO has as bad a FC rotation as the Lakers? The Rockets apparently and BKN. Only the Suns have worse. So we are in bottom 5 frontcourt rotation in the league sans DMO.

SO embarrassed we lost to LUKE WALTON and the Lakers.
What a travesty. 71 points in the first half. 43 in the second.

Yes. I really hope Capela can come into his own and become dominant down low to negate all the other weaknesses at those 2 positions.

Interesting that no one on the Lakers played more than 29 minutes. Hell even Panda Friend was in the game for 2 minutes. We couldn't have given Bobby Brown 2 minutes with how Ennis was atrocious? We couldn't have given Wiltjer 2 minutes with how no one was making a 3?

My friend flipped on the game when it was tied in the 4th. I told him to just turn it off.

    **** this team.

I definitely felt KJ earned more time than what he got yesterday. However that's done it needs to be. he contributed during the minutes he got and looked way more comfortable and decisive. The subbing needs to be a lot better

Absolutely agree. He should've got ALL of Sewer's minutes. KJ was fantastic.

In an alternate universe, where Pablo is in the game for 12 minutes instead of Ennis, the Rockets win hands down. Those Ennis TOs were TERRIBLE! 4 in 12 minutes?!

Luke Walton isn't a bad coach, in fact he's better than ours in all likelihood.

And yet he ran them into the ground during pre-season. Mike Anthony just doing Mike Anthony things. The one consistent thing amongst the front office in this organization (GM, head coaches etc) is that they always find an excuse for everything. Never take accountability in any situation.

BINGO. When I saw Ennis come off the bench to 'save the game' I knew we were in trouble.
Why put in a PG who can't shoot, can't finish, and can't even pass?
Someone remind me again why he's our 2nd string PG?

Didn't say he was a bad coach. Just find him annoying after being a 'token' part of the Kobe Lakers
and also getting into the NBA because of his Daddy.
Now we gave him all this glory in his coaching debut.

What a stinker last night!! The team still needs to gel. I will give us 20 games, if we are under .500 the MDA style is not going to work with us.

it doesn't take 20 games to realize how an MDA team works. Its already proven in his resume throughout his career. You already know what you're going to get. High scoring output and little to nothing else.
